you have written a brilliant abstract of your experience. I enjoyed it.
If you would need help in game you can surely contact any player there (especially the clan tagged players). They most know how to get along with the mod, the NPCs, how to earn money and getting advanced equipment of all kinds. Please dont make the error not to contact them.

I wish you much luck and joy to proceed with this mod.

The only difference to other mods for this problem is the launcher. As Hägar already has written - the launcher is written in VB hence the problems with msinet.ocx.#

You can try to download the VB6 runtime and following the hints on this page... Its a VB related problem. We are sorry to say - but sometimes there are things that is in Microsofts responsibility and we all have to suffer

Maybe you should look for another keyboard - an international one. I assume a spanish keyboard layout is not international. The english one is the most common

yeah Grid and Dirt are good Racing games as well. I have played them both and like them both. Now after 4 or 5 years even GT5 is released. Dunno if i will buy it - but the demo was not that bad - at least not like GT4

No you wont. All that is there is an heuristic that is similar to known injections (like trojans and viruses).

We put in place a security mechanism that causes this tiny problem. Until we found a way to replace it you have to live with it. I am doing it and some others are doing it too and that for several years meanwhil and i still am sure that i dont have a virus on my Freelancer installation.

There is nothing to worry - it would damage our own bribe here - so we are not going to risk that...

normally all required dlls would go in the freelancer\exe folder. Are there system dlls for freelancer - dont think so.

I am amused to see how people spend soo many times on installing this mod as i really never had any problems so far. But it seems to be obvious a vary of people run into problems.

Nevertheless - i read your post and even could not figure out where you problem is. The conclusion just stated that its not working - but what especially is not working? Does the mod crash if you start, do you see the launcher that download the daily updates? Does the mod activate without problems? If not what are the logging outputs from FLMM?

Considered Crysis hints? Whats your Operating System? What do you mean with dll missing? What dlls? Moving files manually from the mod folder to the FL directory results in other problems. So you should avoid doing it manually. The install script works perfectly.

Just a few questions m8 - of course to limit possible problems and answer you and probably the correct solution will be presented.
So please dont mind to take your time to answer those questions.

Willkommen in der Community.
Wenn du überall IDS stehen hast, dann ist dir wohl möglich ein Fehler bei der Installation unterlaufen - oder aber dein AV Programm hat dir ein paar Dateien weggefiltert. Letzteres kannst du überprüfen. Ersteres nur schwer. Sofern du das letzte ausschließen kannst würde ich empfehlen den Mod nochmal zu installieren und darauf zu achten, dass du es als Admin installierst und der Ordner und die Dateien nicht schreibgeschützt sind.

Solltest du Probleme bei irgendwas haben, dann meld dich hier einfach. Meist bekommst du relativ schnell eine Antwort.
