I/ll fly around a bit in Sirius, still havent visited all the planets yet throught the x system. Several gates are still open for me to discover. I'll get what I can, got 2 Gattlings of Murmansk.
I'll do some Outcast missions and get a good fighter. Then I'll return and finisch the story.
Perhaps later I'll see how MP works for me. Thanks again for the help...
Thanx for your reply. I haven't seen any weight reducers in hte game until now. Can I get that in the Tarsus system as well?
I already was planning on returning with my Bullpup tot Sirius, having bought 2 Gattlings... I'll try and up my stance with several factions. I guess I was hostile with the rogues since I took a bribe for the coalition earlier in the game. Never thought about the crossfire guys putting in hostile rogues inside the system. I only counted on having to deal with nomads, and with my bullpup that was no problem with the Mk3 using the strafe and slide technique..
Hi there, I've been busy playing cf now, and with some hints here and there found my way to Sovetskaya, and new hongkong. (I won't spoil anything). But there I meet rogue coalition ships and they've got masive firepower. 'm stil in my bullpup 3 freighter, with 21000 hull but still my shield gets blown to smithereens, and while my left hand is searching for nanobots I see myself explode big time.
i am no stranger to frantic play, been playing UT2003 a lot at higher levels... 
but this was scary 
. Might it be that the level 7 shield on the bullpup is the problem and I can only navigate there with a good fighter? So make sure you make your money in Sirius and then spend it in Altair and inner core?

the "look" of Juni (I personally advise SEXY 2 ;-))
and also alot of choices about performance and graphics.
Take your time to look them up CAREFULLY before you choose and finally activate the mod.
There you will also find the advanced shader option
Hee thanx man the advanced shader option did the trick. Already flying in Bretonia waisting Molly's (they're so good to go, lol)!!!!
I run CF on Win7 64 bit with an I7 and 8800 GTS 320 mb video card. Couldn't start the damn game until someone came up with the brilliant idea to disable the advanced shaders in CF setup. Suddenly no probs anymore. Have you tried that setting?

In this case, you can try the compatibility mode. By pressing Right Click(with the mouse) on the icon / Compatibility and Run it under Windows XP SP3.
Hi there.
I recently "rediscovered" Freelancer,and the mods too it.
I downloaded and installed FL mod man 1.31 en the latest CF.
When I activate CF, no probs.
It then automatically starts the CF launcher. It says it still has to download about 1000 files,takes about 1 minute (fast cable). Then I can start SP and MP.
When I choose SP it takes a while to start. Then the screen goes black (well both of them, I use 2 screens), nothing happens. I hace to manually restart the pc and that's it.
I saw here that people ran on Win7. I use Win 7 64 bits, and a 8800 gts video card. Hardware isn't the issue I guess.
Anyone got an idea?
