U cant kill ancients with weps u get in sirius(at least, its very hard).
Go to altair and buy coalition gatts.
Get the reaper or the king tiger from sirius and upgrade with the best armor upgrade which is found in planet CF.
Remember, shield are not important against aliens, armor is but dont go buying a Titan as agility also matters.
Im not gonna tell u much since that will spoil your fun.
But i also advice u to play the first quest.
Get the disk and sell it at planet CF.

but i recommend u play MP.
Ill be there, my friends will be there.
U can level up and get better weps faster if u play MP.
We can go for group bombings where we take on capships and use alien torps against them.
I too used to play SP, but i found MP much better.
Better for CF as if we get enough players, OP may like it and probably advance the game.
