. As to the race, I have done it in the Titan and Eagle plus a Britannia VHF. took several trys to finally figure out that you have to be focused ahead of where you are, in other words planning your moves before you get there. -

As long as you’re not using 100% of your RAM, then you aren’t to the point where
you need to upgrade it. There is no performance difference between a system
with 5% RAM usage and 99% RAM usage. So what you need to look at is how your
system is managing the RAM you have, the access speed of your hard drive and the
video card you have and its memory usage. -
BP U.S. server was turned off this morning at 0400 EDT.

Just logged on with no problems encountered. Launcher loaded, downloaded patches w/no issues. MP started right up, server found, connected w/no problems. In fact it seemed to be loading faster than before.

Hey Green, Welcome Aboard! You didn't say what problems specifically you were having but you might try this:

Follow it exactly, no shortcuts and do it all as administrator. When you start the launcher after all is done and reinstalled, wait for it to download all the updates. It could take some time and might look like it hung up but it hasn't. Make sure you wait until the "Multiplayer" button is "bolded" before you start SP. Unfortunately it did not. I believe part of that was due to the Dev team not finishing it. What is currently on the server is for all intents and purposes is actually the last beta version. There are several bugs that can be really annoying when they pop up!

Well if you wanted to play it with the highest setting for resolution, you did need to have a pretty capable machine and OS, very good video card and a decent connection.

Those of us playing Black Prophecy got the word yesterday that Gamigo will be shutting down the servers on September 26th. They were unable to find another investor in order to get a new Dev team working on finishing the game, fixing some of the bugs and finish polishing it. It is sad to see this happen. It appears that they will be focusing their efforts on their other BP game: Nexus Conflict. I have played the beta version and I am not too impressed with it, but that is me. Anyway, hopefully the folks that I met there and told about CF will come over this way.
