The Dynamic Economy and the Dynamic Universe will elevate CF into a supreme position.It's already an awesome mod and adding these Dynamic layers will truly improve what most gamers love, excitement.

It's great when Mother (OP) changes the baby's (CF) diaper...it feels good and makes us happy.

Just wanted to let you know that the new version (CF 1.82) has so far caused NO AV issues.

can you find the jumphole to custodian...find ship and trade opportunities there perhaps...that's what I did...

Hi everyone...I'm also having this problem, so it's not just you.

But I found a solution.

I started the game, let the launcher do it's thing, chose CF singleplayer from in-game menu and it started the normal SP campaign with the destruction of Freeport 7.

So I wanted to see Juni again so I let it play out until I got to the bar, and at this point I exited the game without creating a savegame. I then checked the folder My Games\Freelancer\Accts\Singleplayer and found I had the necessary Autosave and Restart files. I took all my old saved games files, excluding the Autosave and Restart files, from my CF 1.81 Saved Games folder and copied them to the above Singleplayer folder.

I started up the game as usual, but this time I chose Load Savegame instead of CF Singleplayer from the in-game menu, it showed a list of all my CF 1.81 saved games. I picked the last saved game I made before changing to CF 1.82 and it loaded it and everything seems to be fine so far.I flew around a few systems and have noticed some of the new changes already.

P.S. All my other selections during activation of CF 1.82 with FLMM are working, just not the Open SP one...Strange indeed...

I selected Open SP mode in the activation using FLMM but it keeps going to normal SP campaign with intro cut scenes.

Is there a way to check or change this? I really don't want to play normal SP campaign all over again for the 50th time. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Let me get this straight...Micheal

1-Rename your old FL folder at Microsoft Games\Freelancer\

2-You need a fresh copy of vanilla Freelancer installed

3-Delete or rename old CF folder in FLMM mods folder

4-open FLMM under Options choose to restore backups...showing 0 files 0 directories restored

5-Double click CF 1.82 exe, unpack in FLMM\mods folder

6-open FLMM or it should open itself then finally activate CF 1.82

QUESTIONS

What do I do if I don't have a fresh copy of Freelancer available?

Is there other ways to install CF 1.82?

Can I still use my old saved games from CF 1.81?

I and I'm sure others have many questions regarding installation, and we do appreciate your help Micheal.

The AV woes continue to plague my CF enjoyment. Nearly everytime I play CF, I first must open my AV program's quarantine folder to restore my Freelancer.exe.

What a pain in the thruster this is. My AV program shows the exe as, (GENERIC TROJAN.HEUR.VP.cmO@aOCpFRA) and quarantines it.

Just wanted to let the powers that be know, that the AV issue is still affecting some of us.

Brett...one more very important piece of advice...always create a savegame BEFORE you enter the Inner Core, and good luck!

Also, a piece of advice I got from SA Forlon...try and make it to Weth then land at a safe base reload bats/bots, then re-enter Ryssk, stay near the jumpgate, and prepare to break open that can of WHOOP-ASS!
