on the CD, there is a file 'rds1enu.msi' Install that, and the msinet.ocx should be installed and registered with that install...

Like what you have done with this place ...

I like the 'no docking sequence' as the neon-server does it .... but then i don't really care, as long as it actually docks and I don't have to Alt f4 out of a never ending sequence ever so often ...

Once a sequence goes over 1 minute.. I kill it and try again ...

nobody said you did not buy it ... it's just that the behaviour you describe is typical of people that don't purchase software...

Why is said it's dangerous ... torrents are ALWAYS adjusted in some or other way .... and not to the benefit of the person downloading them ...

I thinks torrents are the most evil thing in existance today, even before spam mail.

The only thing you get from torrents is auto bots (and notthe repairing kind), worms (not the bird food kind) and unisable programs and killed pc ...

Ask yourself .. what economic reason would someone have for making masive downloads and bandwidth available free of charge ??

Nothing in life is free ... there isalways some price to pay ...

I have been trading more in the train (soulforge) these last few days that in the whole of 1.82 ... and now you have to THINK before you act due to the extra weight when fully loaded ... I LIKE IT

This is definitely one of the better adjustements ... Imagine 970K for the mission and 15 100K Lts .. Missions are back big time ...

I still don't see any mention by you that you have deleted any of the saved games information ....

The ONLY time it has crashed for me personally, is when I have not deleted the saved games from a previous version, or from another mod.

There are MANY places on this forum that describes in detail how to delete the saved games ...

My personal feeling on this issue .....

In HINDSIGHT there is 20/20 vision ....

If you are a software developer, you will also know what I am talking about and you WOULD NOT EVEN RAISE THIS TOPIC, as it is understood that this is one of those issues that 'should have been foreseen', but nobody thought of it 2+ years ago as the issue has not occured before ....

Trust me .. the developers of this excellent mod has already made sure that they will address this issue ... but honestly ...

WOULD YOU HAVE THOUGHT TO WRITE THIS INTO THE 1.82 MOD UPDATE CHECKER ?? at that is the only place that the downloading of the 1.9 files can be blocked .. in the 1.82 update checker ....

Secondly .....

You obviously don't know your computer and how to block processes to access the internet, quite as well as we thought (or you thought) if it still updates ... Others are blocking it effectively and still playing 1.82 with the intructions as posted on the forum ...

Have you thought of DISCONNECTING your computer from the network (pulling out the lan cable) before starting crossfire ?? That way you don't have to switch off the modem .. and much simpler I think....

Feedback... I was one of the lucky few to have the download before it was pulled....

I am impressed by what I have seen so far ... iro of the balancing of the ships, the new flight dynamics due to weight and the other small, hardly noticable stuf that actualy makes a big difference once you notice them ...

Now I am sure the FLhook is receiving the utmost attention it can, and will deliver on it's promise. Until then, I support the fact that the download of 1.9 is not made available, as it's better to get 20 people reporting than 200 reporting the same issues ...because people seem NOT TO READ the forums before posting question (...where is the 1.9 download .. is the most popular question and must have been asked 1000 times already)

So far I have tested all 4 my IDs and 15 ships and they all perform flawlessly ...

Redemption, Cayman, Iteron BS, Soulforge Train, APC, Pershephone, Saracen, Flathead, Black Eagle, Cavalier

The wait is definitely worth it ...

The balancing may have been done too much to perfection

I would have loved it a bit more difficult to complete the missions ..... and bigger jumps in the required money to get to the next level, but then luckilly each to his own and not all the same .. else it would be boring ...

The internet update is for 1.9 and NOT 1.82 ...

IF you update on the internet, the game WILL NOT start and run correctly.
