I Completed the Single Player game again, only last week (after starting it when the server was down) and it all worked OK.

If you still have problems then retry it again from an earlier saved game.

Make sure your not using FLMM 1.4 if you are uninstall it ALL again, and then try again using FLMM 1.3

I have a suggestion...Re above post about OP not knowing the server was down...

On another server I have played on there was a SERVER STATUS thread that was PINNED.

When we had a problem the rule was, you 1st checked the SERVER STATUS thread and if there wasn't already a current post about the server being down, you then made a post.
If there was then at least you know the Admin has been informed and you just have to be patient.
Also the Admin used this thread to let everybody know if they where going to take the server down for maintanace, updates etc.

This saved the Admin getting battered with PM's.

Now I no OP can't be monitoring the all the posts all the time, so we could send him a PM and post it in the SERVER STATUS thread that a PM has been sent to him.
Then nobody else needs to send him a PM and flood his inbox.

Do we need this here on this server ?

You NEED to exclude the Freelancer and the FLMM folders in the Virus Guard Resident Shield,(if you have one) as this will be quarantining the Freelance.exe.
This happened to me and I use AVG.
Also you Need to exclude the Freelancer and the FLMM folders from your Virus Scanner. Or each time the scan runs it will Quaranting the Fleelance.exe again.

This is Fighter pilot Sal_Roma reporting for Duty…
I was stranded in Weth after Operation Wolfpack due to an engine malfunction. My ship is now fully functional and ready for action. I’ve been assisting the Dom'Kavash at Mirrtrakk Station with the defence of the Weth system. I’ll make my way to the Jormder and join with the fleet at the jumphole. I will provided advanced scouting and give the fleet a heads up before they make the jump.

Just like to say the event was great success and I really enjoyed it.

And thanks to PX for organising it and I'm really looking forward to the next one .

OK it sounds like the 1st thing we need is more players on the portal and online.

To do this we need to advertise (as OP said) the mod.

How about one of the event organizers arranges a big event and we all (where possible) try and support the event, and get as many players on line as possible. (should be a laugh as well)

Have a big free for all and have as many different ships there as we can. (I have 5 ships and I'm willing to move them all to any system required (Arena ?) for the event)

This MOD has by far the BEST FL fighter ships, weapons and missiles of any FL mod out there I've played.

We can also do lots of flybys past the most impressive stations and system backgrounds.

Then get somebody to film it. We can then post it online in as many places as possible ?

I'm sure somebody here in this community has the right editing s/w and the skills, we could make a really good video and some screen shots that should draw in more players ?

I'm quiet new here and only really started playing CF1.8 (I had a quick go at 1.7 a few years back) which I think is the best Fl mod I've seen without doubt.
I came across it while voting at the Mod of the year site for Disco which I'd played for years. Not been back there since I started playing CF1.8.
A couple of hours after playing CF1.8 and went back and voted for CF1.8
I have spent a lot of hours reading the forums and most of the recent posts. I can see both sides of the argument but that's what it is an argument at the moment.

This needs to stop ! IMHO There's no point standing around a broken window pointing fingers at each other over who broke the glass. What's needed is somebody to replace the glass.

Everybody needs to take a step back and think what most of us want is for SWAT and CF to continue, and be built up again to what it once was.
Just look at the amount of Read's this thread has had ?

OP has asked for help as we can all see from the above post, no point deigning it, it's there for all to see. IMHO

So we need to draw a line under all this and look for away to move forward and not back.

I suggest if OP wants to that is ? OP makes a current list of all the jobs and help that's needed all in one post so it's easy to find, and then see what the community can do ?
I would hate to see this community die. I have made a few good friends in the short time I've been here.

I went to the lost paradise last night and aquired the Dom'K guns, and then landed at the landing pad. I couldn't equip them. I called it a night and when't to bed.
This morning I tried to fly back to normal space but got dock raped when jumping into the unkown and lost the guns.
So I went back to try and get the guns again but they wouldn't drop ?

My question is, as I haven't equip the guns will I be able to go back and try again after a server crash / reset, or do the guns only ever drop once ?

Why is the SOL system so big ?

Ok the bit with the jump gates is ok and is fun the 1st couple times, but flying from Earth to "you know where" is over 300k.
Nothing ever happens apart from the server crashing when your 50k away from your destination. It takes 15 + minutes and it's driving me mad. I'm on my 4 attempt tonight

By the way I love this mod it's the best by miles and i've played on a lot of FL mods, it's just this system waists so much time.
If it's for some future development or there some other reason then that's fine.

Other mods I've played have the Command

Givecash "NAME of character" amount.

"Givecash Crookey 1000000"

You could send money say from your trader to your other character's no matter where they where. It saved flying half way around the galaxy and then having to find somebody in the same system to do a transfer for you. Which is a big problem when there's only 15 people on the server and there's 150+ systems they could be in.

This then leaves more time to play the game.

The server has been kicking people all morning saying "possible cheating" and to contact the admin.
