  • Nicknames!

    Long time ago, where computers where a futuristic concept, when I played I had to enter a 3 digit code for recording my high score.
    If you look at your keyboard you'll notice the letters P, O and L are close, so easy to type. So name was easy to plug in: POL


    When i started to play Freelancer I saw NEWlondon, NEWTokyo, NEWBerlin... why not NEWPol. :D
    So it is NewPol but only for Crossfire/Freelancer. Still, most of my nicknames have the original 3 digits like vonPol ( 1914/18 or 40/45 ) or Pol Emik in Guild Wars.


    My avatar has the same white hair and beard, being an older char with some severity but misses the glasses ( of course ! )

    As I know you OP, i'm convinced that you'll find your ZEVEN fighters, i suppose your team is nearly completed :D


    My question: what about the Ragnarok ?
    Will it be released to the public or do you have new plans for it ? ( I'm waiting so long for a ride with that ship ! ) :]

    Yesterday i saw the name of Jonesy89 as visitor of our forum. This did me think about my old mates, those started CF same time as I did !


    I'm 1 of the oldest still in play and the newones don't even know me ! ;(


    Where are you Nitro, Trowa, Nuclear Winter, Seddon del Cid, Baldwin, Petrus, Corp, Grinder, Pandora... ?
    I feel so alone, please give me a sign as you can ! :(

    Hummm, I'm not convince that a cloaking device is a must for CF. I remembre the time that OP said " NO WAY ! " but times are changing... ;)


    I find it to strong if you give every ship access to this device.


    My suggestion is to create a few new types of ships ( 3 or 4 ), that have the capacity to load a cloaking device.


    But this ship will not be a super ship, just average to compensate the ability to cloak.
    Let say 1 explorer/spy ship, 1 transporter/smuggler ship
    1 heavy/torpedo ship...

    It's a bit long ( but i don't care because i like Freelancer, lol ) and still no DK's! :-(


    Maybe show abit more of what Crossfire has special: The new aliens, Altair system, New stations and JH, Flying with different, typical Crossfire ships, Crossfire and Sol systems... to much that makes Crossfire unique !


    Dunno if it is possible to have some pictures of NewTrent walking in new station, or bying ships that only to be finded in Crossfire.


    Do'nt think i'm not appreciating your work, it's huge ( i cannot make these things ! ) and i also loved the music !
