plz, make freelancer run only on one core. that should help. switching off 2nd core is one of the solutions for this.

u don't need to buy them. just ignore them.

and u should not buy them, cause they add a hit point to ur ship, making u more hittable. if u r skinned, most of npcs can't target u most of the time, only cockpit hits count, and cds don't work quite the same too.

so, if u r experienced flier, u could even travel dk space in a train, and kill some dks with coal turrets u can mount. i love that and do it when i'm bored.

anyway, if u need to raise ur lvl, u can do that with freelancer character editor. swat download section...

did u follow installation instructions on the crossfire troubleshooting guide?

if u did, plz, state the configuration on which u r trying to run crossfire.

gonzo: ja sam vec pomogao argosu sa slicnim problemom, a inace radim vec vise od decenije kao tehnicka podrska, pa su mi ovakvi problemi poznati vrlo dobro. dovoljno je samo da odes u bios, i iskljucis napredni, native mod, ili kako vec da pise (zavisi od biosa), pristup disku. to ce ti omoguciti da bootujes sa win cda i vidis disk. onda uradis recovery iz win cda i vratis bios nazad. ubcd mozda takodje nece imati drivere za tvoj controller, pa ti je ovo sigurnija varijanta. iskreno, bilo bi najbolje da me kontaktiras, pa da to uradimo direktno. odakle imas pristup? ako imas wlm mozes me kontaktirati na adresu koja mi je u profilu preko msga, i nece trebati drugo da ti objasnim sta da radis. btw, bilo bi dobro da znas tacan model svoje ploce pre kontakta. ja sam stalno online u sustini.

it doesn't matter if it's intel or not, u just need drivers, or switching ur controller to legacy mode... ubcd may not help anyway, but u may also need some help with using it's tools too.

we can only hope they will not think we did it. but i am not so optimistic.

i don't really understand how do u ppl stand installing so many indentical software products on ur comp...? like all major msgs do not possess voice capability already.

and they r all the same considering bandwith and usability. maybe even better than ts.

drivers at floppy disk r not for hdd, but for the controller driving it... but anyway, that solution doesn't always work, especially in the case of intel's mobo chipsets, cause some driver versions r a bit buggy.

if u choose floppy disk variant of the solution, u don't have to do anything in bios.

there r a few workarounds for this problem...

the simplest one is switching ur harddisk controller to standard, or legacy mode, or whatever term they did use, in bios. after that u will b able to access ur disk from windows cd, and do the recovery. u should return bios to the previous state after recovery, and try to boot from disk drive.

if u can, since we speak the same language, maybe u could contact me directly, and i'll help u... if u have any means for that.

anyway, b sure to check ur disk when u manage to boot windows again... ur problem could b bigger than just booting issues.

u have two options for sp when activating mod: with original campaign, and without it (open sp).

there is no new campaign in cf, at least not one similar to fl original one. what u have is ingame story u discover with certain things u will find, like blackboxes in wrecks and similar. and u get those with either original campaign, or without it, however u choose activating, so it doesn't matter.

there should b a reason for this happening to him, and the worst-case scenario would b a hard disk failure.

that doesn't really seem proper, m8, cause there is no way flmm could have guessed ur freelancer folder for "freelancer/mod" folder or anything alike, if it was't ur own undoing in the 1st place.

and just by copying contents of that mod folder (which u say was created by flmm; highly doubtful, cause u were able to start launcher) to fl folder would result in corrupt fl copy, in the most cases.

anyway, having xp exposed to internet with no firewall or antivirus around would result in quite many virus/spyware/threat infections by relatively short time, and imho, ur cf issues could just be consequences of former situation.
