Marauder, we all entitled to share ideas, so long as we arent forcing them on others. So yours are so different they involve changing the rules? hehe Sorry i'll let you have your peace.

I would like to publicly appologise for the harsh words i have said of SMG in the first post. In future, yes, PM's are enough, and appologise to everybody for having to read all what is here.

SMG have my full support. And i wish SMG good will and luck with their endevours on CF.

very correct to handle with care, didnt realise i was being sarcastic though. It is true, im only using 1 char, and i used to use many, its the using of many that brought me to the conclusion that 1 is better, thats how i feel, but i think i can relate to what other people are saying about needing a store. I thought it was an interesting thread.

Maybe as this is a sensitive topic to so many we should sweep in under the carpet. For the sake of not causing any arguments.

I have 2 accounts, (and 2 more accounts where i've lost the account number)

On my main account i have 1 char, thats the one i'm using now, i deleted all the other chars and made a new one.

And on my laptop i have i think 5 chars with a total over 900 million on: (got given most of the money from LP members for safe keeping and running of clan)

-a char parked in NY with 10 mil on it, for helping with any new recruits.

-a store char

-a Daedalus Defence char

-another fighter char with red rep

-a train.

All useful in their own right, all with a purpose.

Lets take for example the NY char for recruits. I could store all the upgrades on it aswell if i wanted, no server rule against that... If i DIDNT have this char, i would need to drive to NY in my fighter, and if i have enough money, give a little to get the rep hack, then try to get the new LP to a place where we can give support while he/she gets their first taxes or trades. Or even risk travelling through enemy territories with upgrades in my cargo hold. All the while other clans might attack us, and we might have to hire Mercs for protection to help if their isnt enough LP online to help.

Who amongst us thinks that it would be more fun if i didnt have that char in NY?

Who amongst us would also sacrifice their recruiting char in the name of RP?

Your correct by saying that it doesnt stop people using more than 1 account. Nobody is trying to stop anyone from doing anything here. And nothing will be put forward as a suggestion to OP. People may still choose to do that and no-one is stopping those people.

As a programmer myself, i could automate the task of creating accounts, and filling them up with credits using the cheating methods i've found out from this community, however, i choose not to, i choose to play the game, and enjoy all the mods features, and i feel that its only possible for me to do that if i use 1 char, but its certainly interesting to see what views other people have. Sometimes less is more.

This isnt an Anti-cheating thread, its just one person saying what i feel is necessary for me to get the most enjoyment from the Mod.

Yes, Diablo you did proove yourself a worthy adversary today against my 3 day old Nomad gunned char. What a hero. And i appreciate the money you offered me to keep me over level 50. (which i declined, as i dont know what dirty policeman had it in his filthy pockets before you).

With any luck you wont have misinterpreted this post, but i doubt it.

If you have been playing on this server a lot, you would know that Marauder has been holding the LP clan together for the past year largely on his own. Hes a regular player, and one of the most honourable people i've met on the server. To tell you how honourable he is, he never even joined the clan for money or even protection, he just joined to be playing the RP of pirate with others who like the same thing, he earned every last dime himself, on his own, and refused any help from other LP, and yet has offered help to others. He never complains about anything. And on this occasion, one of the very few times i can think of that Marauder speaks up to give some encouragement to join in, he simply asks us to not argue and come and play. After several years of playing he has finally reached level 90 and acheived his 5000 NPC kils that is the requirement to join LP haharr. To get level 90 is something most people would normally use a train and/or F1 to do. He deserves his position as a clan Leader of LP and has worked hard for it. I beleive he is one of the few people who really posses the ability to make this server great again. If people really feel that they should upset those players who do actually enjoy playing the game, then we can only see one result: That this will be Marauders last post, and nothing seems to change.

I would like to see people on the server playing and not arguing on the forum, now if anyone has a problem or something to say about that, tough luck because i'm not going to listen. I am feeling very dissapointed that Marauder has been ignored as proven in this post, but at the same time as i haven't seen these people in game since my return, then i don't see why it bothers me that much.

For the record, the attitude on the server is good at the moment, there are new people joining the server all the time, everyone appears to be happily playing the game as OP intented, now lets not spill all this over into the game spoiling it for others.

lets just DO, get on with it and not poke fingers in each others eyes for whatever he or she decides to do, leaving or staying, or admin descisions. If we still like what CF has to offer, (which incidentally is no less than its ever offered apart from lack of SP presence) then we can still play it and enjoy it for what we have.
