  • CF Grand Melee Event

    Oh here we go with the results. It's nice to see them cause I didn't pay attention to them yesterday cause everyone in arena was laughing and joking at this time. As well as noone complained when the event was stopped while the serverload was high - we just had some fun chatting at the time being. The point is that everyone there had lots of fun without complaining checking his frags, watching who is shooting him and picking him as a target on the next respawn. We had a TDM without people prioritizing their targets by what happened ouside there in RP, in private contacts. We had a TDM made for a good reason like friendship and happiness that one of us reconcidered his decision to leave CF. And when we made something altogether for a good reason it turned to be good for all!


    Yes the transfer of players between teams and joining players who logged in in different times created some mess but still we were not there to win, we were there cause of our friends here in CF so we accepted it. Picard wrote down 2 A4 papers to calculate the results but it was worth it. it was great, it was huge and the prizes... well seems like some ppl didn't even know what the prizes is and they were quite surprized with em.


    We started it without having a SP online so we had to write every single member online about the event. Well it's not so hard and this comes to prove that when you want to do something you can do it no matter the dificulties.


    And this is how it should be! When we are led by friendship and mutual respect we can do a lot for each other. So thanks everyone who joined and left everything on the arena gate. Thanks to Slayer and GalacticFire for comming up with the idea and thanks to Kyron and Picard for helping this idea to become reality.

    That's exactly what I tried to tell you ingame yesterday, Slayer. And btw I only loged in than to tell you that. Too bad that the sort lines there don't give the chance to write something structured like here in the forums.


    And I would like to add a sidenote - if you all are really concerned about this community and still you are addicted to this nasty little screenies - do like me. I have nice collection of screenies too but I used only one of them because it was important to use it. And when I was asked about how to use a screenie by not one or two citizens of CF I advised them to keep em in their private collection if they feel the masochistic pleasure of watching them like I do sometimes.


    Logs, screenies, rummors... Damn it I still want to say cheers and talk about alchohol, women and politics no matter what they said, did, etc. Dang I even have screenies of some of my friends around saying not so good things about myself. So what? I can live with it.


    And yeah for quite some time I think I am living in some kind of weird nightmare. I rearly get even "hi" from ppl I used to have a lot of fun and good conversations in the past and it's strange cause I did nothing to them. Well I can live with it too.


    I don't really know why I am breaking my promise by posting this but thats how I feel.

    First of all - I didn't like Gal because of some statements made by him in SoS, California and Dublin. I thought it's showing off now after reading what you wrote and after talking with you yesterday I think I may be wrong. If I feel under pressure I would react in similar way and I once did insulting Kermit, who I respect so much.


    2nd - yes maybe Gal was terrorized but only 3 console bounties was placed based on this "plan". I remember them well - 1 mil, 2 mil and 3 mil placed one after another in a matter of 5 minutes. I don't remember who did it actually.


    3rd - I want to defend my friends with some facts. When we were hired to kill DOM clans we joinded the fights 1 by 1 or we just watched. Because we wanted the fights to be fair - 2 vs 2, 3 vs 3. Still we have counter example fighting 3 vs 1 for a bountie but then it was for the bountie himself. And actually Gal's was the 4th bountie in the list, the forst one was collected by DD, some of the bounties on Kermit too and we had to defend Argos from DDs who wanted to collect the bounty on him and then we went to collect Gal's bounty. If Gal was priority so Kermit was had higher. But as a matter of fact he was just closer.


    To proceed with the facts. In New Berlin when Gal said that he will let us try collect his bounties we didn't. In SoS when you and Gal came in to stop our smuggling operation we stoped. When you and Gal was fighting DDs in California we kept trading. I have many examples and all was made after this post of Burro. Why did we act like this I will let you guess.


    I wouldn't even join the fight in X for the bounties on Gal, I was watching till I received warm welcome to the fight including paralizer, cataclysm and nemesis. When someone shoot me, I shoot back.


    This post was bad idea of course, very bad. I won't deny it. I won't defend Burro, cause he is old enough to apologise and to carry the consequences of his actions.


    And if you ask me the tension on the server was rising long before any of this happened. I don't know why and I don't want to know, cause we don't need more of this right now. I actually felt for the first time that something like this will happen when a leader of a server clan said something about war in private, then I felt it for the 2nd time when LP member numbers online started to drop, and for the 3rd time when another member of a server clan was talking about war.


    Half of the server were pissed off by the other half. The screenshots were poping up from everywhere, there were hundreds of rummors and lies told by numerous ppl... So what did you expected? Maybe it was better that all this is happening so we can start clearing all the old things right here.


    There is only one thing I didn't expect to happen. Cause I knew CA's style of politics is in some aspects the same like mine, but I didn't know that he will reveal only half of the truth. So now CA if you have guts for it - tell the ppl the other half. Who reacted on this post in IOC forums? We kept discussing one crazy idea of yours without paying atention to what burro posted. Actually I thought it was a cruel joke and when I was contacted by one IOC member who was asked to place bounties on Gal I told him not to before I get a chance to talk to Burro. Cause then I remembered there was such post.

    And the last thing - I am sorry Galactic, I am sorry not because I actually did something, I am sorry for not liking you based on instinct instead of try to see what is really inside there, in the cockpit. If Slayer is your friend so you must be good man, cause Slayer is a good man - one of the few ppl I say hello and good night on private channel just because they are not in the system.


    This is not my last post here in SWAT but it is the last post I will ever make in topic like this.
