yes there is some good ideas, but we need to now act on those ideas because time is ticking away very fast.

Regardless of the char wipe, which may or may not even happen, if you are no longer a member of SMG you should remove the tags, I'm sure people will be on line to transfer money and weps over to your new chars, ok yes you would have to go buy new ships but its not like you would have to start all over again and then receive the wipe, if you have any respect at all for your old clan and CF you will do this, if you have no respect at all for any of those, then i ask what are you doing here?

I apologise Myric if you thought i was trying to belittle your idea, like i said your ideas are good hell any idea is better then nothing at the moment, and i appreciate you can't think of any ideas for SWAT, but there must be some out there that can and its from those that some input is needed as well as the ideas for the server.

We know what OP expects he wants a busier server where people play by the rules and work our problems out in a civilised adult manor, he also wants us to realise where we went wrong and what we did to fuel or even create some of the problems on CF and SWAT, he also wants people to follow through with there promises, like when people say they will take care of parts of the portal and do it for a couple of weeks maybe a month and don't bother anymore, my feelings are and i haven't been quite on this that is some way we are all!!! to blame for what has happened here, so now we either run away and hide or we stand up take it on the chin and come back fighting, like the saying goes what don't kill us makes us stronger.

Some of you maybe asking why is Slayer back he left us all behind and didn't care back then and why now? well that's quite simple i did things that was way out of character for me and this is where i agree with Myric and the rest of you, i started to live my Avatar my RP character and not me, i didn't stop for a minute and think about the person behind the tag, i also didn't stop to think about the damage i caused to CF and SWAT with my angry rants, yes a lot of this was because of my depression but i can't hide behind that as an excuse i let myself down and what i strongly believed in and i let all of you down to including OP, Now OP could have quite easily banned me and he would have been well within his rights to do so, but no he gave me a chance a chance to prove myself a chance to come to my senses and see where i went wrong, and in my absence i realised this and i also realised what a fare Admin OP really is, because lets face it how many other Admins would have let me or some of you get away with half of what we have done, so getting back to the reason I'm here now trying to help, that's simple i owe you and CF and SWAT and OP my effort and my time to help put right some of what i made wrong, i would ask you all to stop and think for a moment think about that person you dislike and ask yourself is it really worth it, do you want to go down as the people that helped to finish CF or do you want to feel proud that you have contributed to a bigger better portal and server.

Some of you will remember that i had a slight problem with SMG and SMG had a slight problem with me, well i am willing to forgive and forget and i know SMG are so if we can do it all can do it, so lets put all of this crap behind us, lets work together and fight for the survival of CF and SWAT.

Look guys i don't mean to be rude here, but every time there is a problem RP seems to be the blame, time and time again there has been posts on how RP should be done and still we get the same issues, yes RP may need looking at but the problem we face now is far bigger than just RP, so with that in mind how are we going to fix the rest of the problems?

There is still no mention how SWAT can grow and improve or how we can make this forum more active, and at the moment these problems also need addressing, don't get me wrong i love the ideas thrown up so far even tho some of them will be impossible but still any idea is a good idea.

well the past is the past, the only thing we can do is learn from it, but seriously these problems are not just server side and to do with RP, there is obvious problems that need sorting on here on the forum/portal, we need new updates on all games the forum/portal supports we need fresh ideas for SWAT so basically we need to think of the bigger picture rather than just the RP problems.

But keep the ideas coming guys.

That's what i like to see some creative ideas, i don't think the clan RP role change will be possible but who knows, as for the rest i agree with you more should be done to allow clans of opposite RP's to work with one another and i feel that this would break the ice with most of the tension, again great post Myric, if you could spare the time to put some of these ideas into action would be great.

What about the forum? does anyone have any ideas with what can be done here, CF and SWAT work side by side, so we need other ideas to solve our situation that doesn't involve RP solutions.

very good post Lone and welcome back, i couldn't agree more with what you said and i think for most of us its what we want, you obviously have many ideas Lone maybe you could help to put some of them in action, i am willing to assist any way i can and i hope some of you that read this will put your hands up and lets make things happen.

I was just wondering what games people are playing, seeing as there is a lack of activity on CF there must be somthing you guys are doing with your time.

When im not on CF obviously i Play Arma 2 but i also have been playing C&C and Company of heroes and IL2 and Rainbow 6, yeah i know i have to much time on my hands lol.

I have to say i am very surprised that 2 weeks have passed and still there is no progress in meeting OP's deadline, there has been a lot of talk about what needs to be done but no action, isn't it about time progress is made.

I have heard a lot of talk about how OP should hand over the forum and server to the community, well for this month OP has and the result is a dead forum and a dead server, do you still feel that you are up to the job? because if this is the case what is happening now proves OP is right not to do so, this is our chance to show OP we are not a bunch of cry baby 3 year olds that just take take take, without giving anything in return.

we have 3 weeks left so lets show what we can do, if you have ideas that's great speak about them and lets do what we can to sort this mess out without all the constant discussions and no action.

I think it's a pretty simple solution, just agree to disagree and be done with it.

And why shouldn't you, it is up to each individual person how he choose to play that game aslong as it is within the server rules, and as far as i can see no rules have been broken so i don't see a problem.

lol well that funny as you would have to restart your pc and route every time you want to change you account so that you IP resets, i cant think of anything that would be a bigger pain in the ass than that, but if you are that desperate to do exactly that then you would be sad enough to use cheats and so on.

Also there is such a thing as an IP range ban which means you ISP IP range would be banned, obviously this is a bit OTT but for those that keep on breaking the rules its an easy solution.
