@ StephanoV get of your high horse, i don't see anywhere in Gunny's post where he single you out or PX, normally people that jump to assumption like that and go all defensive usually have something to hide, do you?

The comment about CF community being smaller prior to 2 years ago had me rolling about with laughter, like Gunny said 40+ players active on CF a daily basis, i remember BG had so many active members on, that we had to split into 2 groups for group chat because we exceeded the amount allowed in one chat group, "FUN" RP was played everyday, police fighting and upholding the law against pirates and pirates well being pirates and there was mercs for hire, my point is we all stuck by the rules we all had a good laugh and all were good friends,don't get me wrong we all had our moments of madness and they were dealt with the correct way and nothing more was said, no witch hunting, no insults, but somehow in the last 2 years the rule book was thrown out by players and still i don't understand why and how the community is in this situation now.

I will hold my hands up and admit i did some pretty stupid things by loosing my cool and getting wrapped up in whats become a Political CrossFire server, 2 years ago OP said to me that i was the cause of the situation back then, so i went away after our conversation and thought about what he had said and decided well if i was that cause i would step away, have some RL relaxation and return when i felt rdy but still today the same shit is going on which leads me to believe i wasn't the cause of the problem, i may not have helped but the problem did and does run much deeper than my actions, basically all this finger pointing and putting the blame on one single person is pathetic, this is not the problem of one single man or how the Rules are set out this is the problem of all of you, drop the macho image and stop look and listen before you speak.

I see many here questioning the rules that are already set in place ... and i ask myself why? the rules were good and were followed for many years and people had fun and RP was well played, the whole server was a fun enjoyable place to come on a daily basis, its only the last year or 2 where things started to go wrong, this has nothing to do with the rules and more to do with the people playing, so please no more talk about how the rules read as a story or how they are insufficient.

Az chill out i'm from the UK and can read and speak English very well and i can understand 100% what OP is saying ... so i can't see any reason for you to take offence, As for dragging up old shit about BG and its members a year or 2 ago is pointless and meaningless, I was one of those BG pilots you complained about, and if it makes you feel better i apologise for anything BG and myself did wrong in your eyes, hopefully that's the end of that ... it's water under the bridge m8, I myself have had many discussions/arguments with OP in the past but that's human nature, i don't h8 OP for that i'm adult enough to realise you can please some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time,i think Arkane nailed it perfectly on his thread you all need to take a step back into reality and see what has gone on and where you have gone wrong and how you can correct it, trust me i know i was where most of you are now nearly 2 years ago, Attacking each other and OP is pointless if you feel this will improve things then you need your heads checked.

Arkane ... good to see you m8 ... and its good to see that i'm not the only one that's has felt/feels this way ive been saying exaclty the same for a year or 2 myself, i couldn't agree more that this mod SWAT and OP deserve better and i only hope that maybe this post will makes some difference.

This is true ... but there is a patch for DX10 to be used with XP so thats not really an issue ... I have full version of windows 7 ultimate 64 bit installed and to be honest it runs very smooth and fast ... i haven't seen many bugs with the OS apart from Media centre and thats not really anything to worry about ... atleast i can now run CF with my AV software and connect with no problems .. DX11 will obviously be used in games at some point but froim what i have seen so far it sounds like the new DX11 cards like the soon to be released Nvidia 300 series will be very costly and out of reach for most people unless you have about £400 spare to spend on a G-Card, but now you can pick up a DX10 card for as little as £50 i would have expected more than 38 titles to support DX10 by now .. and those that do like assasins creed have a DX9 and DX10 .exe so you can run either ... so telle me again why most games only support DX9!!!

well DX 11 seems nothing to be excited about seeing a majority games made today still use DX 9 hell if they mostly used DX 10 i would be jumping for joy ... so i guess in another 4 or 5 years time my new OS DX will be used oh Joy but i guess Nvidia will ned somthing to push people to buy the new 300 series G-card ... which does look nice with 16gb of on board gddr5 ram but will there be a game created to use all of its power.

Yeah i must admit I'm a little excited to see the outcome of this game ... Bohemia are a pretty small games developer ... but they always seem to push what they do to the limit ... so i think this could be pretty amazing, what is also good is Bohemia rely on Modding teams to develop there games further which is what they did with both Arma 1&2 ... might be a good project for SWAT in the near future?

Here is the next project Bohemia Interactive are working on ... lets hope they do a better job of this unlike Arma 2.... might be worth a look
