I was told in-game that the minimum number of players required is 10, so I went over the forums to check what other requirements there are.
I haven't find anything on this topic, hence this thread.
Any pointer would be really helpful.

To me at first, they resembled a liver working overtime and on full steroids. Not that I know how a liver on steroids sounds like, but my brain makes awkward associations.
Did you know that on some systems, (eg Sovetskaya) the system music contains portions of these ships' sounds?

The jump holes work like this by design It is meant to be a random outcome every time you dock with 'em - if you access the mission information, you will find that there is a warning on this.
Don't worry, just keep docking with the marked JumpHole and you will, eventually, reach the system where you gotta be
