the trick is not to step on the "fire" panels , because in that case the bridge you're standing on will retract.
while on *easy* difficulty level you have enough time to go around those fire panels, on *hard* you will run out of time very soon (given the fact you also need some time to shoot at those objects on the wall).
thus, what OP has also been doing is that you simply jump over those fire panels (altho, every time i've tried to do it, i'd trigger the fire panel and fall in the pit )

for those who actually have few more days of time

xD goood,gooooood
selling every single particle I got on the exchange was a splendid idea -
ya, i know about the picture ... just wanted to mention how nice of someone else, like TPB, to use the same pic as our fleet
-
sooo, apparently we got ourself a new member .. or a supporter?? xD
-
aaaand there we go ... another bullshit we need to "grind" for (pointing at the T6 give-away ship)...
-
last year it was a pet (horta, some kind), a ship, some costume .. and something else .. would be nice to get hands on another ship or smth actually useful
maybe they'll give away a borg boff xD -
since they'll shut it down, should we try the No Win Scenario as a fleet this weekend?
-
since you already shown me wrong once before, let me ask you first the following:
- what exactly are rewards? (items, ec, skill points, expertise, dilithium, r&d materials, ...)as for the rest: i haven't seen a single queue or trible-wide message for NWS, meaning, noone is winning or playing that one at all; as for the Mine trap, I remember that mission from long time ago, I liked it and still want to play it, but there is basically noone playing it at all!
and this "ground boss" scaling thing -> basically, no more NPTT for anyone ... who da heck is gonna kill that thing in 2 min? a team of 1000dps player only ... even if !
-

wow, thx for this info .. didnt know there are so many accolades coming with these missions..
btw, just out of my curiosity: do these accolades serve for something? i mean, collecting all these points.. what can it be used for?

16 runs? you sure about this?
according to my calculations, i need 13-14 ruins (depends how many times i end up killing annoying hirogens giving little reward).
let's say 14... i need max 3,5min to finish single argala. (3min with kazon and malon, hirogens again are just annoying and outlying the results...)that's cca 50min per level. taking the double EXP weekend ... and i believe i need only 25 spec points more .. ill be done with that crap in 3 days!
at the same time, i usually get 60k after a single argala run from selling the items: after a single level -> 840k ec -> looking at the exchange prices , that is 3 superior beam tech at minimum .. in 50min!!!to put it differently: i'd rather spend 3 days leveling up, than spend another month trying to force myself to enter the darn argala .. and and this point, space ships make nicer explosions that dinos at dyson ground
-
your boffs can be trained in ALL the skills and you can then switch them just like you want it
now that was a great idea, and has saved me some zen as i already wanted to buy few more slots
so first you have to level where you need all the xp.... and then when you are done you in theory would get a bonus (when you dont need it anymore)
haha, prob they think that everyone will now first try to specialize in this new command spec, and then use it to lvlup all other specializations...but da hell .. i'll use this weekend's double EXP and Skill event to max all specializations, and then im out of boring argala for some timebut first, lets see how useful will this new primary spec be ...

ya, definitely take a 116b rifle now .. it's down to 2,3mio only!
-
for gods sake we dont have to work on fleet projects anymoreyou never know ... first they set a new captain cap lvl to lvl60 ... it would probably be appropriate to set a new starbase cap level to lvl6, so to buy fleet based T6 ships xD
-
small add-on: have just done few voth ground rounds: definitely buy the 116b rifle! it's actually very easy to tag all 3 dinos with it, as you only need to shot at each dino for like 10sec, and then you can run off to another one, because now you have to deal damage to dino's health.. shield doesn't matter
this way you're back to earning easy 8000dil a day within only 30min -
noup, it's CritH,have just checked. tactical has Dmgx2 and medical has DoT3x2
-
Is the borg prosthetic the tac one from the rep system? (I'm a long way from that TR-116B)
this one: Borg Prosthetic - Maintenance Drone MK XII [CrtH]x2
The 116b isn't even that expensive .. mk12 very rare can be bough for 2,9mio , and mk12 ultra rare for 4,2mio .. i would suggest going right away with an UR, it will save you some dil and r&d materials just for a rarity upgrade ... -
I'll just put this here, should anyone else have a need for it.
Basically: you can track how much damage you and your team mates make in a certain fight. The damage is being saved in a log file on your computer. But since it's a pure textual file, making any sense out of it is a rather challenging task. That's why the good ppl have created their own "readers" (aka parsers) that help you discern the information you need.
Why would this be of any interest to you?
1) You want to increase your damage output (i.e. you're testing new setups)
2) you want to see how well you do compared to other team matesThe tool I find very convenient is Combatlog Reader from --SFG-- Lea ( original thread link, and youtube link (everything is in german, but the tool itself supports english)). The tool is frequently updated, the latest version is 1.2.2.6 from 20.12.2014.
You only have to start your combatlog by typing "/combatlog 1" in any chat (you wont see any output!), and you stop it by typing "/combatlog 0". You have to start and stop it by yourself, there is no automatic option to "recognize" when the fight started or ended. There is a nice keybind tutorial OP wrote (link) that I'd suggest you adapting it to your needs. And due to the nature of the log file itself, it tracks only damage occurring within the 30k perimeter around your ship (shouldn't be a huge disadvantage as at least it works properly for you).
Of course, there are some other tools doing the same like ACT (Advanced Combat Tracker; link ) and STO DPS PArser (link).
