If you team up with him be carefull. He is still fighting any npc's he comes across so he is making lots of enemies. So he will lower your faction rating if you are not careful.

My son has expressed an interest in Freelancer so I let him have a place on one of my accounts. You may see the name Anubis appear from time to time in CF. If you do, this is not me, it is my 11 yr old son who is learning how to fly the ship around. He is primarily staying in the NY and surrounding systems and taking on Xenos, but if you see him outside of there and I (Osiris) am not on, go easy on him. If you see him leave and one of my characters come on this is because i have the 2 accounts on CF and gave him 1 spot, it is NOT an untagged character. If any of you attack him you will know right away that he is very new to the game as he will be dead within seconds. However I will hear about it and respond with the full fury of a father and a CFPD member. (this is NOT a threat so please dont take it as one)

Those of you that see him online can help him out with some pointers if you feel like it but i have not told him how to chat yet so he may not respond to you.

Ruvio, you cannot please everyone and it is pointless to try. You can read over this thread many times and come up with different answers to different questions. What you need to do is what you WANT to do, nothing more, nothing less. Should UAC leave CF then CF will continue on. If you stay, CF will still continue on.

I am not saying that each unit and member in that unit is not important. I am saying that there are many things that individuals cannot control. UAC leaving will not be the death of CF no more than PiA leaving was.

You need to do what you feel is best for you and your unit and to hell with whatever someone else thinks.

Welcome back to the force katipo. And as a fellow officer again you can be my wingman anytime. There are few others from other police units I would say that to.

IMO if they want to leave just let them. I don't agree with them trying to slam op even though he and I have had our didfrences in the past. But posting a thead Ike this will only promote bad feelings all around. Let them leave and let it die.

I believe understand you entirely

I used to talk with cryton about creating a "vigilante" character for similar reasons that you have stated. Do not feel you are alone in your thoughts. If I ever left the CFPD it would be to become part of a vigilante unit that not only guards against corrupt policing but wards against piracy as well. My position in CFPD will not allow me to take on KRT as fellow police officers at this time. Actually you could call yourself a bounty hunter, unaffiliated with any police unit and in that role take on whoever you felt was a cause of injustice. This would not nessesarily brand you a criminal.

@Marshal: I mean no disrespect my friend, to anyone here. His decision is his to make and his alone as was yours. I am not telling either of you what to do or which way to go, just offering alternatives. Personally i am glad both of you decided to remain with CF instead of leaving altogether.

If OP is asking humbly then i would consider my actions Red. You have been a pretty cool member of DC, i have talked to you a couple of times. Hate to see the unit lose you and you start smuggling so the police have to chase you. If there are problems on the server that need handled try getting someone involved to help get them fixed??

Sorry to add this to this thread, but i will add that i will be looking for these ships and some screenies as well. I have a ship stationed out there so it shouldn't be too much trouble.

There is an excellent route southeast of manhattan. nets about 6.5 mil per run and is about 2 trade lanes and a jump gate long. I will not tell specifics here cause others had to look hard to discover it but for an enterprising merchant it should not be to difficult to find.

OH: and it is all legal cargo.

Police to police the police? That would be IAD: Internal Affairs Division. Again i offer the services of CFPD. Of course those that feel they have been treated unfairly can always form a coalition to try and oust the police forces

@Raven19: Agreed, all of us smuggle, even KRT has been seen smuggling BMG into Sol. Check the server stats, those with huge amounts of credits did not just magically make them Yes i also refer to my account which is currently over 1 billion credits. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" Is a very famous quote that i believe fits into this situation. If KRT had never smuggled i think others would not be so harsh with them when it comes to them blowing others up.

I think KRT is doing exactly what they said they were going to do. They are attempting to clean up the routs and the Sol system. They are not dirty cops, they are just a little new at it.

I hope you will uphold the law without corrupting it for others and taking away their fun. I realise it was not you that threatened to ban a smuggler, but please try to control your troops. As you told me in a previous post. This is nothing against KRT. Just trying to keep the peace for all, such is the life of the CFPD.
