that does not seem to be just the generators on the screenshots. The other Dyson textures too. But it looks differently for me.
Going to investigate.

having a hard time reproducing this
if I wont find a solution Ill provide shader option again that is using the old method with the lighting bug as an alternative
-
-
don't use the autosave but the mission generated savegame instead
-
Because the shop needs to be maintained and it makes not much sense to maintain 150 system entries that people are not even interested.
-
Current version uses latest shader version available. Depending on hardware.
old version had bugged lighting
next version had FPS limit
newest version apparently has other issues i can not explain
-
goddammit can't there be anything working these days
-
what do you mean with compiling bar? the one compiling shaders?
thats done once, then not again

-
is there a similar issue on the Manhattan cityscape? Can you post a picture of it?
-
only in theory
Run the dgvoodoocpl.exe.
Ignore all errors.
Unchecked "capture mouse" and press ok.
Downloading updates probably will overwrite the setting again. If working I most likely can provide a version that allows settings that don't get overwritten.
-
i think the one you already downloaded is ok
-
you can try to remove the hudshift in the same way
I would also delete all the savegames just to be sure
-
Depending on your graphic card either via the ATI or Nvidia software.
Alternative to that you probably also can use the window mode in the launcher options. I think window mode does not have vsync on.
-
maybe installing the vc runtime will help
Latest supported Visual C++ Redistributable downloads | Microsoft Learn
other stuff worth trying
1. enable window mode in the launcher setting and see if that helps
2. if you are only trying to play singleplayer it might be worth to see if that dll is really source of the problem. You can edit the dacom.ini located inside .\Freelancer\EXE\ and outcomment the plugin. just replace "jflp.dll nofovx" with ";jflp.dll nofovx". Then launch the singleplayer without downloading updates.
-
jflp.dll is actually just for the widescreen support
never heard that it caused any problems but I dont have much experience with mac

But we are still talking about crashes when launching the game?
There is no connection with any server at that point other than getting downloads (but that would not trigger any of such errors).
can you post the error log?
-
yes, a firewall would block updates but that also would prevent all improvements done to the mod
Generally the SP also offers the option not to down load updates everytime.
The reshade issue however is related to these updates.
The launcher update which ran automatically updated the rehade settings. But this only works if you also download the other files aswell. This time both updates have to be done, the automatic launcher update and the mod update. Then reshade should work again.
You dont have to do the SP update everyday but every now and then would be a good idea.
