    nice loop

Are the temps good? AMD tends to run a bit hotter in idle.

    lian li fans?

Ram speed looks wrong, EXPO active? nvm, probably the first boot.

However, would be interesting to know if 4x16gb runs stable on EXPO. The ram controllers sometimes have problem with that.

Bottom and rear fans seem to be reverse fans and the ones on the radiators normal ones, right? In that case you will have to adjust fan curves a bit to create positive air pressure inside the case to prevent dust.

The Montech case certainly came with a magnetic dust filter on the bottom. Use it. (can not see it used on the pics).

Also worth thinking about is to buy a cheap dust filter for the rear case fan. You can get some already for 5€. Sometimes even less.

Im somewhat impressed about how much space the Montech case has in the front. I just recently build a new PC and Montech was an option but I decided to go for a Lian Li case because I was able to fit more HDDs into it.

I just wanted to give a short update on the current situation and upcoming stuff.

Time still is an issue since RL job and health situation of my dad (almost completely paralyzed) demand a lot of attention.

However, I might have 4-5 months of calmer waters ahead since the family business is less demanding until summer. That means I might have a bit more time getting some modding work done.

The updates planned will be of a smaller nature, addressing issues one by one.

The first update might already be released this weekend.

It will update the OpenGL renderer (once I finish adjusting game content to it). This will significantly improve the lighting and bring some additions to the feature set.

Also, the Reshade will be updated to the latest version. 2 shaders will receive a fix, and the Dx12 V1 shader option also gets fixed.

    Future update plans:

    • ship updates (Kuze proposed to use newer versions of his ship models)
    • dealing with system lighting optimizations of the OpenGL renderer
    • making cutscenes and bases compatible with OpenGL
    • trying to fix the issues experienced at the Nomad Event test (performance issues and reward system)
    • ...
