so i started the mission from the last autosave

FAAAAAAAAKING HELL !!!

The poor ESCORTS got BURNT & i got me NEW WAYPOINT back to N/BERLIN !! ( DID YOU COME & PUT SWAT PORTAL MAGIC DUST IN MY RIG ??)
Shame about them they did a pretty TEXTBOOK JOB of looking after me & i really loved watching them smashing the GRANNY out of those BASTARDS ! &
seeing coming back to me like a PACK OF WOLVES & enter formation.

FAKING GREAT!! & MADE ME GIGGLE

i would have liked to have bought them A NICE COLD PINT of LIBERTY ALE at the N/BERLIN BAR & got us & juni TOTALLY SHITFACED
& bragged about the day,s KILLS.

& MAISHAF say,s that the escorts get blown up ?

Yes i was using the autosave, the damn mission is so long & hard for me i felt i had no choice , i thought that was what autosave was for ?
I started the mission again last night from coalition HQ & it seems to have become even more harder (e:g) When i come out of the station i
keep getting attacked by those faking DOM,K gunboats ? i find this totally out of order cos i bribed the coalition to be friendly with me .
WHY are the DOM,K GUNBOATS on the COALITION HQ,S FRONT DOOR ?
Anyway i kept reloading & got past that nonsense,,, so what i then did was to dock on every base i could before entering the GURM system.
The GURM section ?.... my god that seems harder 2nd time around too !!!!! im just not getting through it , ive wasted my whole weekend with
thiS HYPERGATE CRAP !! MY FAMILY THINKS IM MAD & STUPID FOR PLAYING THIS GAME !!!!!!
So are you saying that if i get blown up between GURM & THE HYPERGATE im going to have to RELOAD at the last COALITION BASE ?

I think SWAT should really RETHINK this mission out.

Tried moving closer to the gate but the coalition cmdr still does not come back to me, this mission is like sucking on DOM.K shit anyway.

i 1st played FL, SP back in 2006 & loved it.
last year i tried out DISCOVERY & found it to isolated & boring so i stopped playing it cos i wanted good story content.
Last month i started cf 1.9 & my god what a contrast.
But when reached mission 14 i was totally freaked out to find that i could not set my own waypoints to do my own thing
so i joined this site 2 days ago to find out if i was going bonkers not just about the waypoint thing but also the fact that im
flying the good looking NIGHTHAWK VHF which is one the ships with the most armor & having a adv class 10 posi shield even
the outcast ships let alone the alien weapons are cutting through me like shit !.
Its such a shame you have play the main missions 1st before you can go off & upgrade your rig .

Is anyone using the NIGHTHAWK VHF ?
its got a lot of armor & moves about slightly less than the eagle but even with a $10m armor upgrade DOM,K gunboats cut through me like shit ?

On mission 27 i must wait for the cmdr to return from the j/gate ive done this but he wont return.
Ive been advised to fly closer to the gate, is that right ?
Also would my survival chances improve against the barstard,s if i bribed the coalition 1st ?

Im thinking about going back M14 & pick up a power genny & maybe try & find better shielding against alien weaponry do you think that,s a wise move ?

Im your wingman concerning the setting of our own waypoints thing, i thought i was going mad not being able to do my own thing.
what a shame that we can,t go & explore & buy cool stuff to help in the fight against the aliens.
Ive been sending messages all weekend about this problem although the rest of the game runs fine but with mission 27

MISSION

AT THE WAYPOINT (STOP) & WAIT FOR COALITION CMDR TO RETURN FROM THE UNKNOWN J/DATE !
Well Scrot he didn,t , i went & had a shower & he still never came back ?
but ive just been advised to move closer to the gate NOT TOO MUCH cos you will get fired upon & blown up
This mission which im finding very hard to say the least is because your in constant flight with nowhere to
resupply & i spent an insane $10 m on an armor upgrade & the DOM,K gunboats cut through me as if my NIGHTHAWK VHF was made out of butter
even having a ADV CLASS 10 BRIGANDINE POSI SHIELD.
Anyway mate ! your not off your rocker like i thought i was .

Sorry so are you saying then that like mission 10_13 in the original story you have to do the main missions 14 & onwards without a break to do your own thing ?

ALSO i would be interested to hear your views on mission 27
