Quoting the Crossfire server rules is very good.
Totally agree with the your/server rules about manipulating the game to gain an unfair advantage.
Also I admit that destroying trains when empty again and respawn multiple systems away , it is a form of game manipulation and time-saving (I admit i used it too, excuses/justifications here = bullshit ).
Regarding the the handling of the game, using scripts, macros... what about HOTAS/HOMAS/blabla or other kind of HO_mixtures ? It is considered that manipulating the game and get advantages over other players?
- Clan leaders has the ability to re-tag the chars of their clan members.OK.The clan leaders are responsible to ensure that this job is done.Very OK.
About me, I announced all that have joined the clan to delete all untaged chars. From this point, I can not verify the correctness of player or if he has other IDs (or clan leaders would have the possibility to check players according their IP). Or, another sugestion, if it is plausible. Clan leaders can make theirs own clan IDs, with the afferent tag and give to any new joined member. In this way, he has also controlling all clan members IDs and problems like this are eliminated .
And to be more fair to other players or clans, clanleader should/must post all chars in a separate section in the description of that clan on forum(and upload all clan IDs in a saved clan database for validation and check).
