is that not the idea that it is ment to be harder and make ppl look more for the uber trade runs? i found one and made some good money on it and then it was gone the next time i played which made me go to other systems to find a new one.

azadurrahman might have found the secret to the dynamic universe which is cool for him but dont be surprised if one time its not where you expsect it to be.

i like the way things are and as for noobs well there are always ppl around to help them out and get them started and there is always custodian which could still have good routes for them.

i have no right to post in this thread as i am not in a clan anymore. it was a very hard choice to leave them but i had to as the server they where on was s**t, and i missed CF.

i have been asked many times to join a new clan since i came back and have had to say no every time as i dont feel it right just to join unless i could put my all into that clan.

this is something i carnt do at the moment not cos i dont like the clans that are asking but cos i need to work my way back into CF. i feel i need to prove to myself and others that i am a good member of this community.

anyone that is in a clan now should think long and hard about why they would leave. if there is a problem in your clan help to sort it. leaving just makes you look like you dont care and you run from every little thing.

at anyone that is thinking of joining a clan, make sure there RP is what you want. make sure you like the ppl that are in the clan. this way you will have a lot more fun, and be less likly to leave after a couple of weeks.

death vally is of a system in X3043 but some of the fun is looking and finding.

the Ragnarok is the server police ship and as such only they can have one so not much point in talking to much about it sorry.

as i think someone has put before. that would make DK space a long trip or not worth going at all. there are no dockble stations there and it can take ages to get through. if you put F1 only when docked you might as well take out all DK systems.

why carnt we just leave thing as they are some ppl will use the F1 for there own advantage but most wont.

if someone does it to ya put a bounty on there head. get as many ppl hunting them as poss and tell them why. this would have a better result, give ppl more RP. also you dont need the bounty to be big i would do it for a couple of mill just for the pvp.

you might want to look at what you are running. if you say you are smuggling then if CFPD or BG come running to help you, you will just end up with someone else trying to distroy your cargo or kill ya.

think there might be a copyright problem with the ships fromColony Wars and i dont think Op wants sci-fi ships in his mod (i could be wrong be i think i read that somewhere)

however sieto you might want to take them ships and mod them enoth to avoid that prob.

i dont do a lot of trading but i do hunt on them. will the new system meen that when you look at the commodites list any places you have mapped will give you a price. so lets say the LA-Sol bmg run. you go to buy at LA and you would then see the best sell is not at earth but say planet crossfire. If this is how it will work that will be very kwel.

PiA nightowl was on today but only to rip apart the chars and start again without the tag. the only thing he did was take his chars to NY. nothing else, and they no longer have tags.

as for PiA_OP-H8R i think everyone can work out who that is. If he was giving away money he might be doing what he told me and leaving CF for good. with this being his final shot at Op.

Yes i know we have DC but we also have two pirate clans and a couple of freelance pirates like me.

i am tring to do my job and as of yet i have not had any of my victims call for police help and maybe thats the problem.

So i am going to give my target a bit more notice as to when i am going to ask for tax so they have time to call in the cops.

this could be a big problem for me cos i know how well you train your clan but hey its only fun and i dont realy care if i die its the chase and the banter that matters to me

i say stay with the police role you guys do it damn well.

you will also find the CFPD logo in Tarsus and the DC logo in Tohoku and some of the other server clans have then too. they are located just inside the clans system and as Marshal said in the case of BG it infront of the X-3043 gate in Custodian.

just make sure you ask permission first before going in if you are over lvl 40

RECON i think you are mostly right, however i dont think they need to sit there all the time they are online. that would be boring and unfair to the BG. they should however F1 as soon as they see you in California.
this way they get to have fun on the server doing other things when noone is running BMG but gives the BMG runner time to prepair his/her run and the fun can then start.

i would like to say thankyou for all the kind words that everyone has said about nightowl and myself in this thread.

as nightowl put in his post to Op, we work together and since i was allowed back to CF i have talked to him everynight about how much fun i am having on CF.

also all the help i have got from old friends and even some that i was close to being enemies with, have gone out of there way to help me and its something that i will never forget.

i am not sure if i should have any say in this choice as i feel i still have some wounds to fix from our leaving CF, but he is a very good friend in real life and it would be good to have him back here so we can both talk about CF at work and online.

reinstall sometimes leaves little bugs so its always better to do a full uninstall then reinstall.

@tec_cr0w you have it all wrong pal. the blockade is nothing more than a good bit of RP for the BG clan to take part in. because of there role as a millitary clan it is harder for them to find RP that fits with the rest of CF.

there main role is the safe care of new players on the server and helping them get up some lvls in the safty of Custodian, while also guarding this route from all comer.

they close Custo off sometimes to lvl40+ player to help them think about looking for other route to X-3043 and explore the mod more.

the blockade fits for them it you dont put the game into real life. of couse there are no names on the list after all the list is not real, but its a game and as such you can imagine that the goverment agents list is real and could have extreme effects on the running of the millitary (BG).

as for bmg, ships and equipement being moved, Op would never do that as he wants it to be fair for everyone. you must also remember that the server clans pay real money for there systems and should get something out of it, whether thats the control of a ship like the shroud or a peace of equipment needed by others or just a good in-system trade run.

server rules also say that a clan can only buy one system so this would stop a clan taking control of all the "good" stuff.

so please try to have fun with the blockade and if needed hire someone to get you though it (i am avalable ) if you read the role play part of this forum you will see posts from player that have done just this, and made it though.

ok how many new treads do we need for this!

Op is on holiday for a week and it looks like we might not get the server back till he is. so sit back relax read all the forums or something and dont make a load of new treads on the same subject pls.

i am using this time to give my p.c. a damn good clean up and get all the old crap that has got on it over the last 10 months. oh the joy of having a 15yr old daughter. she loves to download.

Ruivo you are a good man an honest man and a good friend to many on CF. not many will put there hands up and say i got things wrong. i know you will do everything you can to put things right and help CF grow. good luck and good flying.

Op has got you guys a much better server which will make the game play much smother with no lag (or very little). if i remember right that was planed to go online at the start of the month which is two days away.

this could just be Op checking everything is good, moving files over etc. from what i rememeber also all chars will be moved over and be there for ya as soon as its fully online. so try not to panic to much this will be better for ya.

i was given a copy of the program but it might be worth looking at filehippo.com or give goggle a try.
