And about air intake on ships: This is used to refill air reservoirs inside ship when on planet or when in oxygen field.
BACK TO TOPIC: How 'bout make a carriers which carry NPC ships? Not more than 5 (make Kozlow-class flyable for this), simple light fighters affiliated to same faction you are and with default guns, can be resupplied when arriving on planet.

Starlancer ship changing: NO FLAKKING WAI. They are already good. The only thing they needs is a gun placement and their colliding with ship fix. That, of course, can be strange that Coalition did not developed some new ships (excluding making Basilisk mass-produced, since it was a prototype in FL).
