Pop in some time soon, Privvy; change is the only constant in the universe, and nothing is immune from its effects. CF will be fun (again) even for you... [11]

Good to hear from you, Cyb3r! I admit I've been AWOL from the IOC forum for some time, while I work on CF1.8, but I look forward to seeing you in space again soon

[woot] Another major milestone in the history of the FL community was passed today, as SWAT Portal logged over 2,000,000 visitors!! Kudos to OP and the many contributors to SWAT and the CF community for remarkable longevity & relevance to the FL & sci-fi gaming communities

One can only hope that the Nobel Committee was hoping to set an expectation for Obama to live up to. Even in this case, one could make a case for the idea that European liberals are using the prize as a means of further advancing a socialist agenda in the US (not that Obama needs any help in this direction). Either way, by prematurely attributing such recognition, the Nobel Prize is unfortunately diminished in its significance. I have no doubt that there are many worthy candidates in the world, who could make MUCH better use of the financial reward, and produce further humanitarian benefits...

Age is mandatory, maturity is optional! As another member of the CF community who is a bit "longer in the tooth", I can attest to the fact that all activities which cause you to learn new skills and provide stimulating exploration are excellent for the health of both mind & brain. Crossfire is one of the best souces of both of these, since I am even now learning new skills as part of the mod team. I am even learning new things about gameplay in 1.7, and I have been playing here for nearly 4 years!
BTW, don't think you are the oldest player here by any means, though you have a few years on me. Live long & prosper... [10]

Mount Venus still the best if you all know what that mountain is
Maybe you are referring to Olympus Mons, on Mars?

[697] Even the most prolific artists need to recharge thair "muse" from time to time. Take some time off, play your favorite shooter, watch some sci-fi, have a few beers, get some sleep. Then I'll have some time to get the voices right, your energy will recharge, and the project will resume. [prost]
@Lucy - IMO, you have a gift for fiction! In fact, I included the main theme of one of your stories into a bar rumor for 1.8; I probably should do some more of them...
