    the [WP] has a prescence on the void server (any one wishing

    a clan known as xXx or something similer has recently


    left the above named server now once again my dodgy memory strikes i have a fague


    recollection of seeing such a clan tag but cant be certain


    some of <666> clan members


    departed from the server in not a not so pleasant a fashion (it seems an admin may have been


    involved)

    the above information is not certain to be correct but plz feel free to


    research yourselves and share any findings with the rest of us

    I have a few


    ideas


    1/ adjust the physics on the battleships and trains


    2/ maybe more


    trade routes that pay like sig 19 (or reduce the rewards for trading at sig)


    3/ new


    weapons to match the ppcs so more ppl choose differant weapon configs


    4/ adjust all


    the historic VHF they all fly practicaly the same


    5/ attempt to make the choice of


    which ship you use a choice instead of everyone buying the same ships to stay competetive if


    a ship has pluses it must have minuses this might encourge ppl to buy ships according to


    their style of combat or what they wish to use the ship for


    6/ make trains dockable


    at certain stations ie the ones you see npc trains mooring at


    7/ building a purpose


    built unloading ship with high cargo around 800 or more but severly limit it in weaponry and


    abilities perhaps no cruise engines


    8/ change the hull colouring and textures on the


    historic fighters i understand the nostalgia aspect but they will fit into the graphical


    mood of CF better


    9/ sorry RG gonna have to disagree with you about ship speed i


    think ship speed should not be determined by ship class it should be determined by the ship


    a really fast VHF may not be as manueverble as a slower one but one with a thin hull and


    virtually no cargo space might be very nimble and acclerate well


    10/ would a two


    stage cruise speed be possible? so in tight quarters u can travel at say 300ms but full


    cruise is 600ms


    11/ give npc vs npc weapons and station turrets their teeth

    12/ fix the osiris bugs and fit the cloaking device and make it so it has no


    weapon energy for say 10-15 secs after uncloaking but make the ship an enourmous price to


    buy (and perhaps a system for server police and admins to deactivate the cloak)

    ok ive came up with a plan


    for a trade assault event i will run it past wavey and op to see what they think i used


    baldwins asf csf trade battle event as a template the only problem is its gonna take some


    organising because to really make it spechial i need a reasonble amount of particpants


    hopfully 15+ im not sure if thats unrealistic for a friday night though i also will need 2


    maybe 3 volunters to be adjudicaters to keep a score.


    but if it all works out it


    will be a fantasic event with aspects of most events from top gun to the smuggler and the


    big race

    you can look at the recent player lists and check if they have scouted CF


    out.


    Everyone understands how serious the implications of this might be if we are


    attacked by a an outside entity(s)
    and even though it is just a rumour at this time we


    should begin to make preperations such as a system to ensure a constistant well trained and


    prepard defence force is on line at all times, all contingices must be addressed. i


    apologise for being presumptous and telling ppl way more experianced in such affairs what


    needs to be done so if i talk crap tell me to shut up but i feel i have something useful to


    contribute.


    the main problem i can see is that if they do come they must rapidly


    establish and become equiped to become effective now obviously they know that and we know


    that so we will do everything in our power to prevent it they also know we will do that. Now


    if i was the leader of an invading clan i would prepare in advance by sending freelancers or


    a clan in a dissembling guise to ensure that guns and sheilds and money was stockpiled and


    ready the military term is insurrection the difficulty with this is who are the covert


    players working with the invaders it will be difficult to distingush between them and normal


    players and it would be wrong to persecute innocent partys and we dont want to be chasing


    after paranoid phantoms.


    all clan leaders should meet to disscuss all the issues that


    this threat represents i will contact my leader asap and inform of the sitiuation and urge


    him to contact op and dragon warrior

    before if so what was the format? if you want me to come up with something from scratch i
