Or, simpler and more direct answer: It is not done yet, and it is currently unknown as to when it will be released. Be patient

Many thanks, that's approximately what I was about to do if I had to re-install, minus the part where you start a new game for the new folder to be created. Now I can keep playing safely^^

What about SP? I thought the problem was that if we had save files when re-installing Freelancer, the game would not launch (at least that's what happened the first time I tried to install Crossfire, had some old save Freelancer save folder that screwed up everything).
Will I have to re-play through the beginning?

If DK ships are so tiny they can fight under my bed, than I'll be quite happy to crush them with my fist - wait, are you telling me it isn't actually mosquitoes I've been killing this entire time?! Oo

I'm playing SP and found myself wandering around New London between two Story missions (gotta earn 4M credits, which is quite long...), and I noticed a Unknown Jump Gate named "The Corridor".
Although quite afraid to make the jump, I was too curious to turn away. What awaited me was 2 level 10 ships full of level 10 guns (I had the time to scan before tailing out), and I barely made the jump back alive thanks to the fact I just bought a Trident back on Trafalgar station (which in regular SP I shouldn't be able to I guess, it can mount level 8 guns and has a level 8 shield when the regular mission ships go only to level 3 or 4...) and ate all my supplies of Nanobot / Shield battery.
I'm still curious though, where does that lead to? I didn't have enough time to look at the ships affiliation and have no idea why they rained down heavy fire on my little nutshell of a ship, but is there a reason why the Jumpgate turned hostile as soon as a crossed The Corridor?
Thank you for your time,

Ow, many thanks, I was assuming that NPC police didn't care since I did that a fair amount of time to get level 2 and they never seemed to be bothered with it. Must have been lucky than
By the way, there is something that bothers me: I'm playing a French version of Freelancer, but using Crossfire some voices were replaced in English. Is there any way for me to patch my game into an English one, so I don't have weird conversation between an American and some French dude that magically understand each other? (Well, RP-speaking, it could be instant translation devices, but it still sounds so weird).

Thanks for pointing where that Prison ship is, I was like "Yea! Escape pods! Let's sell th- waiiiiiit a minute, 1 credit?!"
It is hard to find prison ships when you never paid attention to them when you played the game like 6 years ago and just got back into it x)
Anyway, as for my question, is there any risk of "smuggling" "Black Market" branded items, like getting attacked by police NPC? Or is it just to emphasize the RP aspect for MP?

Scrap the missions, go trade^^
It is easy to make a good amount of money by trading, especially with the new items labeled "Black Market" (I was wondering, does it turn Police NPC hostile if they scan you while you transport such goods?).
