@ Lost Heaven - when I try to change attributes it comes up with Administration authorisation required, as this user on laptop has Admin rights, I click to proceed. It goes through the changes, but after I click ok at the end, file reverts to Read only.
If I open Data/cameras.ini in notepad to put in the new figures, when I come to save, it says access denied.
Hi all.
I have looked through the posts, but cannot find anything about changing read only attribute in Windows 7. I have tried it about 20 times and even though my user account has admin rights, it will not let me do it. Only reason I'm doing it is to change my resolution to widescreen, which I did easily on pc running XP.
Any ideas where I am going wrong ?

Well, I have just finished turning my 9 green DK rep to 9 red - and I'm still affiliated to GMG.
Only option appears to be to scrap char and start again 
Hi all, can anyone tell me how I can drop my affiliation to GMG2 (Omega3). Seems I was a little overenthusiastic killing their enemies and now I cannot shift it. Tried everything I can think of and a few suggestions from others - no luck

Would it help if this was added to install instructions ?
After uninstalling mod, mod manager, flmm do Start/search/all files & folders. In more advanced options select system folders, hidden files, subfolders - run search, it will bring up files that uninstall misses.
It's the only way I got the mod to run

Hi mate,
I have tried this and it looks great, but only once I have undocked and redocked. Until then the only part of my manouver bar I can see is the launch button. All reappear after launch/redock.
Any ideas ???

Well, I am sure that when I obtained the codes for the hypergate, I was told that a large GMG expedition had gone through and not returned, requesting me to locate them and return the pilots.
Of course, I may very well be wrong, but in the meantime I shall continue collecting the remains so that the families can give their loved ones a decent burial !!

I have been trying to complete the GMG Quest for a few weeks now. I have located all the expedition wrecks in hostile Inner Core systems except one in Venn.
I am told it is in the gas cloud but I cannot find a passage into it.
Is there a way in ?
As this would be a spoiler - please can someone pm me with an answer ?

Just bought the Osiris and everything seems to be working fine, but ........
If I drop down the Inventory, there are no turrets showing in the guns/turrets section - they are all in the internal equipment section. Anyone else experienced this ?

When you have uninstalled Mod, Flmm and Freelancer, do a search for Freelancer - this will throw up a few files left on your hard drive which can cause the new install not to work. Then reinstall

Well, you can actually use a very risky way of transferring equipment. It involves positioning both chars in exactly the same place and ensuring no NPC's are around. Drop item from one, switch char and pick up with the other.
The greatest risk is from NPC's swooping in and nabbing your equipment , so generally it is advisable to use another player .

So, in theory, a ship with higher base armour could mount lower armour upgrade to achieve same overall armour as a ship with lower base armour, and by doing so reduce the turn rate difference. Well, confusing, but I know what I mean, lol.
