Hello...
Again....
Um...
This is embarrassing. I wrote around twenty lines explaining the history of my issue and everything and I really really appreciated the truly superfluous work and dedication that I can see goes into this amazing mod and I appreciate it very much. There were some poorly crafted jokes in there too.
Then I accidentally pressed the side button on the mouse as I was trying to use it to post. Because I have programmed it to be the back key, because I must have been feeling like it back whenever I did and I regret it quite a lot really. Really not the brightest idea using the most likely to be accidentally pressed hair-trigger of a button to be the REWIND key... But alas.
Oh and a really bad pun about checking the cpu affinity for fl.exe and checking all the cpus and rechecking or something. I was quite bad.
The history of presenting complaint is,
I installed crossfire on top of an already modded fl, only with jflp, or jlfp or whatever it's called. The famous unofficial 2.0 one.
I also modified a lot of the ini-s. Mouse, vga, fovx, sound and probably other things too. Worked fine for two or three days of sp and one day of multiplayer.I then downloaded the totally-h@ck3r-fr33-duh-aimbot.exe from certainly-not-bundled-m@lwar3.n0ob.
Now, in spite of knowing that fl was coded for half a cpu, I tried to see if it runs better if run on all of them. I tried and it gave error, disconnected maybe internet connection or server downtime or something, when I tried to sell a batch of goods at detroit. Second time I tried running it on all then reverting it back to 0 only and another station, gave same error when exiting and reloaded back at the entrance of the station with the batch of those goods. Third time same at detroit.
I googled, it said try changing renderer settings to vanilla fl. I changed from crossfire launcher and it said lol, banned.
Here I stand so, hat in hands, good people. Hear mine plea.
Lastly, truly great work from you people. Much appreciated. I'm glad to see something like this being done for fl.
I shall continue enjoying single player, as I enjoy it more anyway.
I hope I am posting in the right place with the right ticket option etc. If I am not, please let me know. I have been reading your portal a lot and there is still so much left. Looking forward to it!
Thank you,
Have a good day, folks.
P.S. I happened upon a few minor structural/grammatical and one or two spelling corrections while playing, I could not find a place to quietly and appropriately inform you, the mods about those. If you would appreciate the information, kindly direct me to the appropriate place for doing as such and I shall gladly do it as I play along the sp campaign. now careeeefully using mouse to press the correct button... yikes.
