My char SMG_Eclipsya*:) , a Dragon Fly ship ( DF), has lost it's map and it's reputation list again.
In the other hand at player's stats still reflects over 640 hours of playing , all base visited number, systems and JHs found.
In terms of log at launcher, there are no errors.
Yesterday I flew with it and I had the maps and reputation list.

Updating: lost the map while I was online today.
When I logged, the map was there. Proceeded with my map scanning own quest for a big while at Dervon system. Then I got killed by drones. Stayed docked for a while at GMG station, chating with other players. When I respawned, to my surprise, all maps and reputation list were gone.
While typing this, decided to explore a bit, and defo I loose the map and rep list every time I die - either killed by npc or suicide against a sun...
I'm wondering if I loose that data when I die or when I respawn. Thinking back, on those previous losses I also died at the NPC hands, but I didn't respawn, instead either logged off or switched char and didn't notice the map and rep list loss.
I'm also considering in making a new char with a dragon fly and see if I have the same problem...

2 solutions come to my mind... either I give you my ID account where this char belongs to, and you run the tests you see fit ( no rush tho, I can play with other account 
or I simply delete this char and make one in it's place, specially if it's an isolated case.
This char also has trouble with sounds and aparently is an isolated case aswell...
1st cenario you might find the root cause of the problem and avoid other similar situations
2nd cenario, you won't find the cause and pray that it won't happen again
