  • this is normal because it's no fighter. there doesn't have to be done anything about it, just try and win. Be happy fighters don't lose their equipement too. People should be more grateful for what they get.

  • Lol... Once, Gunny cought me at Hamburg and I was experiencing red lag. He shot and I lost ALL my weapons, ammo, cargo and other equipment, but not the shield or the power gen or the shield upgrade.
    He, as a gentleman, understanding of the lag problem, gave me new weapons with no charge. For this I thank him very much... after all... he is not that bad. I hope he treated the Iraquis like that in other times. :D

  • If I remember correctly, you can't mount a power generator on a freighter. You can only mount them on fighter ships. So buying a power gen for an APC or Bullpup MkIII is a waste of money. It just sits in your cargo hold.
    And, as GK has experienced, if you die, it goes poof.

  • I have a bullpup III. When a freighter dies it loses its ammo for munition-based weps, its mines, countermeasure flares, cargo, and unmounted items, but not anything that requires attaching. What probably happened is that after buying the ship he forgot to attach the generator. The first time he died then it was dropped as loot. :(

    i remmember i had to destroy a freighter. then i saw all his ammo and cargo floating in space.
    would you leave it? :D

  • hehehe, I remember when I played JumpGate where I had 2 chars: 1 the explorer and 1 the fighter. At the end I got tired of fighting and kept the explorer (RG-HAWK) Fighting in JumpGate was expensive cause when you get destroyed you go back in a pod to the station, you get your ship back by insurance but not the gear you had but the newbies gears (in few words, you will lose all the fancy and good equipment) Plus your insurance went down with each death :D I remember telling OP once (during testing) why shouldnt CF implement that, I wont tell you his answer ;)

    I will have to test it though once again. I will transfer guns o my apc to another char and then PvP once again to see if I lose it again. This time it is installed. I will look out for Burro or Lance or Doppleganger or anyone else whom I know will return my Power Generator if it gets dropped again 8):D:)):P:tongue::evil:
