Hi guys. I have a question about Starlancer. I installed the game but it wont play. I did my research and I discovered that the game is incompatible with my operating system which is Windows 11. Is there anyone here who knows what I should do so it will play in my current pc? I hope it is something a little bit simple because I have no computer technical background. As I understand it, Starlancer is the prequel of Freelancer. I really wanted to play the game to be a part of the history (at least in the game itself) that shaped my favorite game Freelancer.

That is strange. I heard similar stuff about Starlancer but actually I tried it under windows 11 just 2 days ago and it was running fine. It ran out of the box for me.
I spoke with some people recently that said they us dgvoodoo to get it working

I heard that too, the process are just too complicated for me. I was hoping for a simple way around it. I wonder how you did it with your windows 11 pc?

I just installed the game and used a no-cd exe file

I played that game in 2000 on a windows 2000 pc. Then I wanted to replay it years later and it would not work on windows 7 or 10. So, I got my hands on an old xp pc and it played starlancer just fine (I used install disks) But I also had to get a low res monitor because xp doesn't recognize 4K screens and the pc doesn't have any hdmi ports. It was a fun game, various ships and missiles, and fairly hard to beat.

I would like to know where or how to get a no-cd exe file for starlancer. I am back onto a windows 11 computer now.

While I am late to the party: For those who struggle running Starlancer on modern machines consider using 86box (GitHub - 86Box/86Box: Emulator of x86-based machines based on PCem.). With every new Windows Version coming it gets more and more challenging to keep the technical bridge intact and 86box solves this hassle.
