BTW your golbal serv connection isn't your comp/fl install...its the global server, its currently down, but you can still direct connect to the server. The IP for the server is :

you shouldn't decide which clan to join. You should decide your roleplay. The clans here are not, like in most other games, just about some friends who work together. A clan is a faction like the NPC ones. So choosing your clan comes after choosing roleplay.

But anyway, as corporal said, you are welcome to join our clan, you can contact me ingame, PM, LoE_Gust@hotmail.com, or XFire (9gust9) me for questions and such. We have a lot more to offer then you'd initialy think.

I agree with Gust. Don't join the clan that wants you, join the one that you want (if you do at all that is)

Btw, Microsoft has shut down the global server permemently. Until 1.63 comes out you'll all need to use alternate means of establishing a connection.

1.63 is the next version of the CF mod. It will be released in the next couple of months probably and will come with a built-in server-connecting feature so you don't have to do that manually. From the looks of it Microsoft is done with Freelancer and the global lists will never be back

Ehm, sorry about that ^^"...

Open your exe folder in the directory of Freelancer and search for a file named: fldirectip.hta
Launch it, type in the IP, press "add server", then "launch freelancer", and the crossfire server will appear on the lan and internet servers list.

There's a server number and instructions somewhere around here on the forum... I forgot how to do it because I use an alternate method from the norm. The answer is somewhere in a recent thread... as for Freelancer 2, nobody knows what will happen. Maybe they will maybe they won't. For the time being the only thing for certain is that they're done running the global server list

I was wondering what happened to the Junkers Clan. Thanks for clearing it out. We have a RP of Traders but we need protection from pirates and you know how pirates can be. We invite new people and treat them with respect and this way people already know you so we will not be having any problems from your side.

I noticed that too last night... I heard the Microsoft thing from an SP, so I was assuming it was true. Maybe not?
