Can`t seem to get my SL working

There are 5 replies in this Thread. The last Post () by magnet.

    I`ve d-loaded the game with BitComet. I`m using Daemon Tools to isntall it, but it can`t find the virtual image of the game. Is there any possibility that someone could post a link here to where i could get that image?

    Assumption is the mother of all fuckups.


    Being a Cynic isn't that bad. Either I'm right or I am pleasantly surprised.

    I have encountered a different issue: SL does not seem to see my joystick anymore ;( I have just returned to playing it (for the storyline), and the joystick is calibrated just fine in Windows, but it has no effect on ship movement in the game. And the key bindings seem rather difficult to change as well... maybe I just need to re-install the lot :(

    My rig: i3-4130 Core Duo (3.4Ghz), Gigabit GA-B85-HD3 mobo, 8Gb PC1600ram, Samsung 2x 80Gb SATA RAID, Intel Integrated graphics, 3 optical drives, 23" Asus HD monitor + peripherals

    DT can mount these:
    - .iso
    - .b5t
    - .b6t
    - .bwt
    - .ccd
    - .cue (together with .bin)
    - .isz
    - .mds (together with .mdf)
    - .nrg
    - .pdi
    - .cdi


    DT CAN NOT mount these:
    - .img
    and some others...
    Go Alcochol or Nero...


    BTW, my SL is .iso - I can give you the .torrent file...

    can't mount .img? I've always managed to
    and you don't need the .cue or .mds
    you can also mount the .bin or .mdf directly if necessary/wanted.
