Breaking news: Outcasts in X-3034! After a sweeping victory for the dreaded factions most esteemed general, Enrique Ferdinand, a massive Borderworld Raiders wing smashed through the existing house-operated lines and overran all defenses. ASF and CSF forces, already weakened by vicious fighting, were of no assistance. Their cruisers fell along with the rest of the off-guard assets, leaving no allied support to help in the defense of the planets surface.
With the Outcasts firmly established on the industrial and tactical core of the sector, it has become clear that the Outcasts wishes for a Hispania House have finally been realized. With the Corsairs on the run, and regional clan war parties jumping out to defend their neighboring home systems, it is clear that this coup d'état was entirely successful. Though talk of a regrouping and counter-revolution have been underway, no coherent plan for retaking the system yet exists. Rumors have it though that an attack via New London, Inner Cloud, and Nephele is currently on the table.
Fortunately, the Outcasts find themselves with few allies and many enemies. Already the factions of Sirius are banding together in hopes of returning balance and peace to the region, and far away in the distant corners of Altair, the Coalition is responding to the recent, aggressive trends of the criminal group. With the Outcasts attacking all surrounding systems to stay on the offensive and catch their enemies off guard, marauding bands of Sabres have been engaging all unaligned contacts. One such wing opened fire upon and destroyed a pair of long-range, exploratory scouts in the Upper Unknown System. In reaction to the murdering of their scientific team, the enraged Coalition Politburo has ordered a pair of fleet carriers to transit to Omicron Alpha in hopes of being able to use the systems radioactive nebula as cover for their strike operations.
While the powers of Sirius build up their forces, and the Coalition fleet steams away from Murmansk, one can only be led to ask: how could this be allowed to happen? Perhaps an answer will never be conjured up, but fingers pointing blame are of little value at this point. All we can really do is have faith in the strength of our navies and hope for their perseverance. We cannot be too careful though, and every contribution can help. For all of you pilots out there, consider this a call to arms. The People need you, and they need you now. Go to your fighter, take the helm of your cruiser, or if you are less confident pass on the almighty Credit on to the nearest house government. With your help, we will prevail, and cast these mask-strapping, bug-eyed junkies back to where they belong. Godspeed comrades, and good hunting.
In other news, the CSF has been stepping up patrols to undermine the houses ability to defend their home systems. While our guerilla tactics have contributed to recent loses of House Military patrols to activist factions, we have in no way contributed to the Outcasts drive into X-3043. Balancing our military objectives, we have engaged our adversaries, militant groups working against the Peoples well-being, and hostile alien threats. As one of their most trusted agents, I have been away lately infiltrating and sabotaging Rhineland infrastructure in New Berlin.
