1.61 compatability with open single player

I have been away for a while. The title says it all will 1.61 be compatable with the open single player. Will i have to wait for a patch to come out to play this excellent MOD. Thanks guys for your replies.

When u activate 1.61 there is an option for open sp ,select it then should work fine
