SW: Episode 3 - secret features

  • Hidden Face:

During the time Padme lands on the lava planet searching for her evil husband, the

shape of a face is shown on the left side of the ship's window in the middle of the lava. I

really don't know who it is but I'm sure is not an illusion

    Hip Hop Yoda #8:

If you are playing on a PC, go into Windows

Media Player and the Menu will be on your Right Hand side (it will show 'Titles'). Click

on 'Title' 10 and its 'Chapter 1' to access the Hip Hop Yoda.

Hip Hop Yoda # 7 (PC):

On your PC, insert Disc One, go

to 'Windows Media,' go to 'File-Open,' go to "My Computer", then open

"CHARLOTTE_DISC1(D:)," Open VIDEO_TS, go to 'Files of Type' on the bottom of the open

window, go to any file, then click VTS_03_1 then Open! Yoda goes strait outta Daghobah!

    Hip Hop Yoda # 6:

Well, while I was switching through the 'Opening

Logos,' by pressing SKIP two times, Yoda was right there, dancing!

    Rapping Yoda on

    Region 4 DVD:

I could not get the other methods to work. This maybe because

these are Region specific, but I have found yet another way to get "Rapping Yoda" on a

Region 4 DVD. I am using Intervideo WinDVD platinum on my PC. On the main Title Menu where

the Chancellor/Darth Sidious is sitting in his chair with his back to us (press CTRL-T to

get there), RIGHT click on the screen to get the WinDVD Menu up. Goto into the Title Menu

    and then select 'Title 10.'

Those that haven't found it yet, I assure you it is

    there.

Major Blooper on the Cover Art:

    You

just got to have your DVD box on hand and look at Anakin's forehead. There's no scar in

the right eye! Good luck finding it.

    Another

    Way To Get Rappin' Yoda:

Put in disc one. Go to the options menu. When the

options menu appears use the remote to type in 1138 and enter. Here is where it's

different;I have a Sony DVD sytem and it must be entered with three sets of numbers like

this: 11 Enter, 03 Enter, 08 Enter. Then it plays.

    Millenium Falcon in Revenge of

    the Sith:

First you'll have to go to the Chapter Menu on the First disc.

Look for a Chapter named "Happy Reunions" and press ENTER on your remote. Then at the

beginning of the scene you'll see that the Transport is about to land. If you look closer,

two floors down is the Millenium Falcon landing at the same time as the Transport. I know

this is not a "hidden feature" but I thought the fans would like it. Good luck finding the

    ship!

    Ki-adi-mundi's Multiple Personalities:

Go to 'Chapter 17.' Put on 'Subtitles' and listen. Ki-adi-mundi proposes that

Obi-Wan go to face General Grievous. Yoda says "I agree" then Ki-adi-mundi agrees with

    himself.

Hip Hop Yoda #5 (Digest Key):

OK, I could not find how to

get 1138 into anything! No other alternative worked either!

    On my DVD Player, the

remote control has a "Digest" key. For giggles, I CLICKED on that and sure enough the third

"Digested" scene is the Hip Hop Yoda video!

If those other ways to see it don't show

up and you have the "Digest" key on your remote, give that a shot.

    Hip Hop Yoda #4:

Though I don't know how it

happened, our teacher was showing ROTS in class and when the Title Menu showed up he pressed

REWIND and then it just cut to a clip of the "Hip Hop Yoda." I don't know if it would work

again but it's worth a try!

    Three Different

Styles of Main and Chapter Menus:

This may not be much of an easter egg, but

like all of the other Star Wars DVD's, this one has three variations of the Title and

Chapter Menus. To access the Menu styles, at the FBI Warning , type 1 and then the ENTER key

on your remote for the Coruscant Menus, 2 and the ENTER key for the Utapau Menus, and 3 and

the ENTER key for the Mustafar Menus.

    '1138' in

    Episode III:

Near the end of the movie in Episode III, when Senator Organa,

Yoda, and Obi-Wan are on the original Rebel ship discussing what to do with Anakin's

children there is a shot of the panel closest to Obi-Wan (his back is to the camera). If you

look closely the paneling reads 1138.

    Hip-Hop Yoda #2:

    If

you don't have a DVD player but have a DVD-ROM on your PC, open Windows Media Player. On

the Menu on the right (it will show the 'Movie Chapters'), click on 'Title 3' to open

the Menu. Then click 'Chapter 1' to get the Hip Hop Yoda.

then highlight the 'THX Logo.' Press 1 1 3 8 on your remote and press ENTER. This will

    Digital Yoda:

On disc 2, if you watch the short featurette "The

Chosen One," sometime during the video, a clip from Episode I will play which features Yoda.

However, this is not the Yoda puppet you may remember from Episode I. This Yoda is digital.
