  • Some where in this section a guy said he could not log on because

after installing the mod the version still said V1.0.

I have had the same problem, I

have since done a clean install of both the manager and Freelancer and still get the same

problem. It says V1.0 not V1.54.

I have also run the QuickFix File but to no effect.

Please help, I would like to join in on the fun online but have no luck. I have tried

everything, and I downloaded the mod from this site.

    Hello by the way.

  • If it is not showing 1.54 then no wonder...

    Kkiding , butr ok,

    have you Deleted you're saves?

    They are usealy located at

    Code
    1. *:\Documents and
    2. Settings\*\My Documents\My Games\Freelancer\accts

    Delete evrything(Just

    in case).

Next step is to uninstall Freelancer, Download AGAIN the mod, Install

Freelancer and then just tell us if it is continueing.

    I've been here since Crossfire 1.5 - 2005.
    Good times.
Maybe it's time to come back?

  • what is a

    quickfix?

if its not working then open flmm.... open the mods folders and copy all

files from the mods\freelancer\... to your freelancer directory

    overwrite all

    files

Don't discuss with idiots. They only drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience there.

  • i had the

same trouble when i experimented with to MP IDs u end up with a CF and vanilla fl hybrid and

neither is a full install so look for lurking fl config data and and lurking CF data files

    from previous install attempts

  • I should say that when I installed Freelancer, it was

the first time I had installed it anyway. I never had it installed after I done a reformat

of my hard drive, so I have no save game files. I will try unzipping the files and then

putting them in the main directory and see if that works.
