Victorious

During my escapades in CROSSFIRE

this afternoon, i decided to find out for myself wethere these Strike Carriers were as hard

to take out as some members had said. To be perfectly honest, they werent that hard. I lost

my Countermeasures, but that was my fault (i launched a mine when i was too close to the

target with my shields down and my countermeasure dropper was in the blast radius). I was so

engrossed in combat with teh first carrier, that i neglected to take a screen shot untill it

blew up. you can tell i fought 2 by counting the nanobots in each of the final pictures.

here they are.

after first

battle

soon after the first battle, an attack wing showed up, and i took

them out to replenish my nanobots and shield batteries before i went looking for another

carrier.
and here is where the second battle

begins.

this fight wasnt exactly even, as there were 2 battleship wings

attacking at the same time as the strike carrier. the other one is off screen, and you can

see the energy cannon blast from one of the gunboats

gunboats.

after the

second kill, i limped my way to Earth, where i fixed my ship and replenished my equipment. I

also replaced my Diamnondback MKIIs with a pair of PPCs. Had i done this before i went into

Styx, i would've saved about $1million in repairs. Oh well. I'm filthy rich

anyways.

EDIT-and if its a Strike Carrier, why didnt any nomad ships fly out of it

when i started attakcing it??? its got a gaping hole thorugh the middle of it, so i would

think fighters would come streaming out.
