So i tried to follow all the instructions to the letter (clean install, admin rights, antivirus exceptions, read only removal, net framework, user account control settings etc.). When i run the freelancer crossfire (not the shortcut) the launcher is there but it does nothing. i get no errors, no notification of somekind. it is just stuck to 0%. When i press singleplayer the game crashes after intro. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

try to start it from the freelancer\exe folder instead
