Keys don't work properly?

    I installed Crossfire last night, thought I did everything properly, but when I launch the game and start the first mission I can't shoot the lasers on my ship. Also the F1 key doesn't do anything to be able to save/exit the game.


    Today I did a full reinstall followed every step of the procedure listed:


    Uninstalled/deleted all Freelancer/Crossfire data
    Clean Registry
    Reinstall Freelancer
    Restart
    Reinstall Freelancer Mod Manager
    Reinstall Crossfire 1.9
    Uncheck Read Only and apply on Freelancer and Crossfire folders
    Activate Crossfire Mod
    Launch Crossfire, update, launch multiplayer, exit, relaunch


    Installed Freelancer for the first time last night and have never used any mods for it.


    I am playing on Windows 7 64bit if that's important.

    if you have open bottom HUD (right panel) you should see all offensive/defensive equipment like guns, countermeasure, disruptors, torpedoes. All what you need to do is move mouse over this right hud and click on "equipment" (guns., missiles) which you want use now. When clicked with left mouse they "change color" and when you press right mouse button (as default) you will fire this "selected" equipment.


    F1 key is disabled purposely, you should not use this in MP and in SP you can use for pausing game Atl+TAB (as minimized is SP frozen).
