Morning star - it's a deadly blunt weapon used in medieval ages. It's composed of a wooden shaft joined by a length of chain to one or more steel spiked balls, but later on more terrifying and deadly objects were attached, e.g. bones - a horse's jaw or a hammer. Apart from the toys, Santa has brought a plague in a form of a pack of ravenous and furious beetles. Those pesky little creatures, while in a group - can cause a lot of damage not only to the farmers.
