  • I am currently trying to play the singleplayer campaign, but the next level requirement for level 2
is 411260 Credits? How am I supposed to get so much in the New York System?

I also just realised that the credit-counter doesn't even move, regardless of how many missions I do
or how many goods I sale

  • Then start looting the wrecks in New York. It usually raises up the level a lot

  • o ... I haven't had such a problem before. Hmm, try smuggling a little and see if it changes.

  • Well, keep trading until you make 411260 and see if it changes(and it has to ofc).

  • damn... I just deactivated Crossfire and now it won't activate again... even after deinstalling and reinstalling freelancer

on a different note... why is the requirement so high?

it's not like I need that much money in the beginning!

  • The SP in CF is very beefy, I have to say. I've played the standard SP many times, massacaring it easily, even changing up the difficulty.

I've found CF SP to be difficult, not because of their skill, but my lack of ability to put out damage really. I've just started it as well, and still stuck with access only to New York, and my counter reads about 240K for next level. I think its working for me tho, I'm not sure.

I was wondering if the dynamic economy (my biggest nemesis in MP) is just as active in SP. I have many questions about the economy system... can anyone link any directory or such to detail things? or even a detailed description of the system? If there is such a thing...

  • it is dynamic

Only dead fish swim with the stream.
Don't discuss with idiots. They only drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience there.
