I just don't understand it please can somebody simplify it for me? its so confusing.

  • - Go to FREELANCER/DATA/SCREENS folder

    - Rename cursor.txm to backup_cursor.txm

    - Rename cfcursor#.txm to cursor.txm (where # is the number of the cursor set you wish)

This procedure worked for me, since as I understand, Freelancer loads only that file.

  • ok, first I look into my FLMM crossfire mod folder . I find the crosshair set which is cfcursor2.txm and rename it to cursor.txm
I go to my freelancer folder go to screens, I delete cursor.txm and put in the crossfire cursor.txm

I start freelancer exe so is this the right way?

  • It should work. But don't delete, backup!

  • I'm a bit curious but in the freelancer without crossfire, in screens there is only one cursor.txm but why does crossfire have
    :
    _cursor.txm
    cfcursor1.txm
    cfcursor2.txm
    cfcursor3.txm
    cfcursor(1-4).txm.flmmbak

  • Because you can choose from 5 cursors... as CF has more models read above.

Else you can't RENAME them to get a new cursor.
