Mr. Obama just was awarded this year's Nobel Prize for Peace. His efforts in diplomacy and his proposal to get rid of all nuclear weapons were the reasons for this prize.
Now i think Obama is doing a good job, at least most of the times, when it comes to international relations but his idea to get rid of nuclear weapons is more than just naïve and it certainly doesn't help to stop the proliferation of them.
But isn't trying to solve problems and being on good terms with others just the normal thing to do? Is it so special doing this that it actually deserves a Nobel Prize?
I'm not sure.
PS: I saw this news on the GMX Portal. Right beside the article about Obama getting the Nobel Prize for Peace, there was a picture of a bomb. Apparently the U.S. is speeding up the development of the "most powerful conventional bomb ever", the "Massive Ordnance Air Blast."
Give peace a chance
