Hi! haven't been on in awhile because of getting busy
and i expect it to increase so might not be off for month/s
at a time;(
But to the question.
Ok i got this PCI card converter+ wireless modem bonus
It... works...sort of... OK! it don't work! lol my test pc
detects the laptop card in the converter but not a signal!
but its an oldie 2000 maybe... so here are the specs
PCI CARD CONVERTER:
intel WPCR2011WW
intel PRO/Wireless LAN Carrier
It has a 5V thing ticked on the back if that helps
its WIFI!
LAPTOP CARD THING:
intel PRO/Wireless 2011 LAN PC Card
intel WPC2011EO
2.4 GHz, 11Mbps
But my question is with the converter, there's a white
three pin plug at the top part of the card in the pic that
iv never seen before... it looks like an... over sized gpu
power fan socket:D is there some special power adapter
(5v i think?) needed to run efficiently?
And there is a 2 twin black prongs at the top center of the
pic, is there some type of pin setting required here?
sorry about the quality of the pics lol best i could find.
also forgot, i got all the drivers, software's...etc
and Google it a google times and nothing....that old lol
here's the main site location i found slightly useful
i hope what i just said might clear a few questions if ya
post something!
Thanks in advance if ya know something
