Babylon 5: I've found Her Review

  • i finally got to playing Bab5:IFH and boy was it a mild disappointment :(

the physics of flying are quite different that what you would find in Freelancer or Wing Commander. it uses *big science word* Newtonian Physics. think about Engine Kill only some of the time. a button you push, the space bar, turns on "Inertia Mode" where it turns into "engine kill" and you can turn around a shoot stuff while still going the same initial direction.

Sadly there was an honest let-down with virtual 3-D cockpits. it was a HUD and thats just about it. even that was a little confusing.

the missions were mediocre. the Training mission was disturbingly not helpful and battle was confusing as hell.

i would recommend this game if you wanted to try something new in physics flight. i would NOT recommend this game for everything else

Only dead fish swim with the stream.
Don't discuss with idiots. They only drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience there.
