what next

    Currently I'm happily trying to earn enough cresits to buy a "Soul Train" . Then I can get some serious money. But what next? Do I buy a fighter so I can join in some events? Do I need enough credits so I can return and buy another train after my adventuring? I could join a faction/clan that would open up some clan systems.
    The point being once I have the soul train should I earn enough credits so that I can replace it and any other ship and equpment I need?


    p.s. any point buying battleships or cruisers?

    Most player create more than one character. This allows them to keep a train for making money and then have other characters in fighters, capital ships or freighters for other purposes. You are able to have up to 5 characters on your CF account (though it is possible to have multiple account if you require more characters).


    Can't give you any advice about battleships or other capital ships as I have not used them myself.

    IFC takes good pilots as well as traders and you seem good in both.


    Capital Ships right now are just a show of Power and Money. ;) :P

    Don't sell your train, don't waste money on a capital ship, but invest in a good fighter and a licence.
    And then play that role, and play it good^^

    thanks for the advice but how do you transfer credit between characters?

    first you say hello to everyone
    then you have a look on your radar


    if no one is near you - have a look to the chat history to find our where the hell all are ;)
    after you figured that out you should try to contact the player that has the less distance between you both...


    ask him politely for support for transfer and arrange a meeting place.
    after you meet each other open the trade window and transfer the money
    switch your char - hurry to the meeting place
    open trade window
    and getting back your money ;)

    Capitalship is easy to kill^^

    Capital ships are good in a mixed group and against other capital ships. It's all about the skill of the players involved. A skilled fighter pilot can bring down an unskilled battleship with ease. Money and big guns are no replacement for skills.
