But for some unknown reason the Alaska jumpgate is still locked after finishing the missions.

This is a clean install, so any help would be appreciated.

its locked coz it was a storyline jumpgate, as are a few others, that only apply to the storyline in singleplayer. there are other ways to get to alaska, you just have to explore and find the jumpholes. which isnt that hard to do in CF as they are visible from 80k away.....if you turn you gamma settings up.
