AVG is a notorious resource hog (I have it on my work comp). Just shut it down first, and you'll be on your way.

try using /ping command in chatbox as soon as u get online. if u r getting any losses (the 2nd number) or ur ping is too high (1st number, more that a few hundreds) ur connection to server is bad. u can blame ur distance, peak hours, isp or net settings. if nothing helps, u could try playing off-peak hours, like during the night or early in the mornings.
not much u can do else, except getting ur net connection a little better.

The fact ur in the USA and server in germany wont give you a good ping, this may be the cause.

Hi m8, try running a ping from outside the game. My ping from USA is usually about 220 but NO losses and I rarely have ingame problems. Hope it helps
