  • [Introduction]

After years in hiding, the renown smuggler Revan Lai Kyssyr was captured after being setup by Malak Haku, a betrayal that would not soon be forgotten. Revan was lured into the New York System by Malak, who offered Revan the secret location the Star Forge, a mythical space station that is fueled unimaginable power from a nearby star, specifically a Red Giant. Though the Star Forge’s existence is still believed to be a myth, many conspiracists are convinced it exists, indicating that Revan would never reveal herself otherwise, especially in the heart of Sirus Sector.

What happened next stirred up more conspiracies. Though all accounts from prisoners have been discredited by authorities, many point out that statements from these prisoners could not have been a collaboration or diversion, as they were all held on different prison blocks, and had no direct contact with one another. Unofficial reports claim Revan vanished from her cell during a bizarre power outage, and backup generators were “surged with an unknown force of electricity only theoretically possible in quantum physics” according to authorities. All data on Revan was purged from the system, her very existence silenced, and no record of her imprisonment on Planet Manhattan was traceable.

Prisoners claim that during the power outage, only Revan’s cell unlocked, and as the guards began enforcing lock down, she merely walked right past them, as if the guards saw right through her. Engraved on her cell wall, as if by laser, was a message reading:

“To be united by hatred is a fragile alliance at best.”

This message is believed to be a warning against Malak, though nothing about this report is able to confirmed.

    [Chapter 1]

Revan's new found amnomininity at the heart of the Sirus Sector has set into motion a chain of events yearning to be unwoven, with each link in the chain articulately thought out and executed, establishing precedent for the next. With her "clean-slate" from any network mainframe, an alliance is forming. The very same hour that Revan mysteriously walked right out of a maximum security prison unnoticed, a recruiter named Carth for the Corsairs, who often recruit from released prisoners at the doorstep to freedom, was intrigued by the stance and sense of purpose Revan walked with, and sought to introduce himself. So intrigued was he, that he offered her a job after briefly conversing with Revan about her experience as a pilot. The Corsairs rarely ask who, what, where, when or why in regard to vetting a recruit, so long as they meet the criteria, no questions are asked. Revan saw this opportunity, and she accepted it. She was to pilot an Armored Transport, escorted by Carth's wing of Corsairs from Buffalo Base to Leon Base in the Omega-41 System. Simple, right?

As Revan tells it, the following is believed to be true. The escort was ambushed in Omega-11. Nomad ships uncloaked within meters of the ship formation, opened fire, and destroyed every ship except hers. The Nomad ships then activated their cloaking devices, and were gone within the blink of an eye. Revan was able to tractor in 3 of the 6 pilot’s escape pods, who still remain in critical condition in the Leon Base Advanced Medical Unit. What's questionable about her account of events that transpired, is that Revan's ship contained almost 1500 Alien Organisms, specifically of Nomadic DNA, and yet all ships but hers were destroyed. She was detained and questioned for 56 hours by the Corsair High Council. If it were not for Carth contacting the Corsairs prior to their departure from New York, and for Revan saving the 3 pilots, the Corsair High Council has repeatedly professed their desire to have her executed. The benefit of the doubt is hers…for now.

    [Chapter 2]

Revan’s story checked out after all. Plasma scarring was revealed in a sample taken from one of the escape pods, and all 3 pilots confirmed the chain of events exactly as spoken by Revan. Their survival earned Revan an unprecedented token of honor from the Corsairs, especially from Carth Onasi, who has revealed himself to be an admiral of the Corsairs 3rd Fleet. Admiral Carth wasn’t merely looking for another top-gun to join their ranks, he was looking for a pilot to command a division of the 3rd Fleet. The next 41 days were trivial assignments to vet Revan’s experience as a pilot. She was tasked with smuggling goods throughout the Sirus Sector, alone, and doing so earned her a net profit of nearly 500,000,000 credits after proceeds were paid to the Corsairs. She was so efficient with her trade routes, that she soon foresaw commodities needed throughout Sirus, almost as if when and where, and her reputation of bringing essential goods to famished and undeveloped worlds cast a shadow over the alleged smuggling operation she underwent. Alliances were formed, political influences surfaced, and Revan’s ambitions were becoming a reality. With the thought of Malak roaming the galaxy unchecked itching under her skin, she knew the time to take action was approaching.

With her new found fortune, Revan now owns the Ebon Hawk, an Armored Transport purchased from the Corsairs, and a rare Very Heavy Fighter ship known as a Seething Fury, named Revan, rightfully so after herself. Both ships are outfitted with the best technology and weaponry money can buy, and even unknown technology acquired from various ship wrecks she encountered while trading. The vetting process was over in both the eyes of the Corsair High Council and Admiral Carth. Rumors from New York had reached the border worlds, though all unofficial and circumstantial, the Corsairs were convinced both Revan and the Revan from the rumors were one in the same, standing before them in a briefing about the next smuggling operation. Her alliances and political ties also brought many former advisories to the council, enticed by her sense of greater purpose for galaxy opposed to resentment over rivalries from centuries ago. Even the Red Hessians were present in the council briefing, an alliance never thought to be rekindled. Before the briefing began, Revan pleaded to the council, citing their unity as an example of her ambitions. She pleaded to inquire deeper into the Nomadic attack against her escorts, roam space freely and act as an ambassador for the Corsairs and other factions now united. The council interrupted, stating that she needed to be shown something, for words would not suffice. The council and Revan proceeded to traverse to the ship’s nearby hanger bay.

Nearly finished with construction, a Dreadnought Class Battleship stood erected before them, known as Project Inquisitor. In awe she spectated, mesmerized with the design, the size, and the unique styling and markings, blue and gold paint matching the titanium hill, almost perfectly resembling the markings of her own ship.

“Is this going to be the new addition to the 3rd Fleet?”, she questioned Admiral Carth.

“Only if you will be the Captain.”, he replied with a grin on his face. “Your exploits have earned our gratitude, and your inquisition, so to speak, is why we called this Project Inquisitor. Our engineers have even incorporated the design and styling of your fighter ship, a gesture of our appreciation”

“Your request to roam space freely will be granted Revan.”, explained one of the members of the Corsair High Council. “You’re to report to Admiral Carth, though he will respect your leave, you’re expected to be on standby when we need you. 300 of the finest crew have already been assigned to the Inquisitor, and you’ll be given the chance to become acquainted with them soon enough. Whether true or rumor, do not let your desired vengeance against Malak misguide your direction.”

“Your council, if I may intervene with the fact that….”, Revan began to say before being abruptly interrupted.

“With all due respect, hat’s enough council, leave the speculation and conspiracy theories to the journalists!”, exclaimed Admiral Carth. “Revan, if you would be as so kind to accompany me to my quarters? There is much to discuss. Let the council do what they do best, occupy their thoughts with rubbish irrelevant nonsense.”

"You will know your place Admiral.", replied one of the council members.

"...And you will know yours.", Carth expressed with a stern voice.

Revan and Admiral Carth proceeded to his quarters, where tactics, secure channels of communication, rendezvous points, etc., were discussed. He did not bring up the rumors again, but Revan had a feeling he knew their might be some merit to them afterall. Did it really matter she thought? Considering her surroundings were criminals seeking to justify their actions for the greater good of the galaxy, perhaps only time will tell. The Inquisitor would not be completed for another week at the very least, so Admiral Carth granted Revan’s leave. She professed the urgency to investigate a few systems beyond Rheinland Space, a follow up from a request by the Red Hessians she explained. She would not be too far, anxious to command the Dreadnought Inquisitor bestowed upon her.

“There’s just one more thing Admiral, before I take my leave.”, Revan stated.

“What is it ma’am?”, Admiral Carth replied.

“Though I am flattered by the name Inquisitor, and appreciate the thought and purpose behind it, may I request to have her renamed?”, Revan answered.

“I think that’s a reasonable request we can accommodate, what did you have in mind?”, said Carth.

“The Leviathan.”, Revan spoke with true conviction.

“The Leviathan…how fitting, yet equally intimidating.”, Carth replied.

“Exactly, she will be a ship to be reckoned with, a symbol of strength for those in need, a representation of those now united...”, she said as she turned and began walking towards the Ebon Hawk on the other end of the hanger bay.

"So let it be.", Carth agreed with a grin on his face. "Don't fly too far, the Leviathan beckons to you Revan."
