Inner Core Expedition for Investigation of Gunboats In the framework of IOC™ research program on alien spacecraft design, a problem has arisen: one vessel type, identified as "gunboat", is for an unknown reason no longer found in any of the systems under surveillance. The aim of this expedition is to try and detect gunboats, either through direct contact or by additional means of research, namely - scanning all alien ships to check if their parameters match those of gunboats, - destroying alien ships to see if gunboats (or whatever else) could be hiding inside, - searching several systems simultaneously to prevent gunboats from fleeing.
